Every Delaware sportsman, gun owner, collector,  hunter, competitive shooter and every man and woman who wants to enjoy and protect the right to exercise the right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes in Delaware – especially the right to defend self, family and home should be a member of the DSSA.

DSSA is the NRA in Delaware.

DSSA is the only organization recognized by the NRA as its official local partner in defending the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.

Our rights are under attack this year and every year – but especially this year. There is strength in numbers. The more people who join DSSA the greater our strength when it comes to defending our rights in the Delaware General Assembly.

Membership Dues

Annual membership cost is $25.00.  Your dues are used to deliver our message of constitutional freedom to our legislators and to those candidates running for public office.  Additionally, a portion of your membership dues are used to maintain communications with our members on a regular basis and in times when we need folks to communicate with their legislators.

It is also used to help deliver NRA programs here in Delaware, including:

  • competitive shooting programs
  • gun safety programs for men, women and children
  • Refuse to Be a Victim Programs
  • Eddie Eagle Programs
  • Women on Target programs
  • and other programs designed specifically for women and youth
