We develop standards to assess skills in design thinking and human-centered design.

What is the d.standards system?
The international certification system, d.standards, offers two types of certificates: "Practitioner" and "Coach" based on the methodologies of design thinking and human-centric design. Students attend intensive online classes, featuring lectures from an international team of experts, to develop new products and services.
Why d.standards?
Many employees within companies take part in design thinking trainings nowadays. However, no appropriate standards and test methods exist today to assess the quality of training progress of individuals and to describe their professional development. Proper staffing of employees with a design thinking background for projects is impossible as the qualification level is unknown and not measured.
D.standards is an international association with members from industry and science that is committed to developing norms and standards in design thinking and human-centered design in order to assess skills and competencies of professionals within the field.
Worldwide Standards
d.standards harmonizes the different approaches to set design thinking qualification standards accepted by the design thinking community and HR professionals worldwide.
Independent
d.standards is an independent non-profit organization, that develops tests to assess the Design Thinking skills and competencies of practitioners and coaches.
Certification
The certification of d.standards is open to all. It is not necessary to be a member or book a training or a course.
