About the challenge

This year's Designathon theme is Healthcare Education!

• This can include healthcare-related education tools or games for patients, families, students, or doctors.
• We would like to encourage all participants to create projects (technical or non-technical) relating to this theme. This will not be enforced and you may choose to work on a project outside of this theme but will not be able to win the prize for the best project if you do so.
• Your project can be anything related to healthcare education so get creative! Educating patients about a condition, exploring treatment options, and sharing vitals with doctors are all great examples of directions you can take for your project and you're more than welcome to come up with different ways to interpret the theme.
• Bonus points will be given to teams that focus their projects on pediatrics.

• Category Ratings
  The top teams for each of our three subcategories (patient education, healthcare provider education, and miscellaneous education) will be qualitatively selected.
