Dumble Farm Camping & Glamping

Immerse yourself in a secluded fluffy cow and wildlife haven in the heart of East Yorkshire.

A hansome highland cow

But why ‘Dumble Farm’?

Nestled at the end of the quiet hamlet of Arram. Dumble Farm provides a picturesque adult only off-grid, eco-friendly campsite with rustic charm. This family run site has pitches for tents, campervans/motorhomes as well as Yurt glamping options. Guests are surrounded by tranquil trees and grass meadows, filled with cows, goats and abundant wildlife. There are multiple walks around our fields and surrounding water ways for visitors to explore, where you’ll be able to see our cute cows, spot the local wildlife and reconnect with nature. Guests staying on our campsite will also have additional access to a private picnic and wildlife areas around our pond.

The Dumble Farm campsite is over 18’s only and strictly no dogs allowed.

Luxury Yurts

Our luxury Highland cow themed yurts are uniquely nestled in a beautiful spot here at Dumble Farm, with stunning views over the East Yorkshire countryside, plus of course some of our fluffy Highland cows.

Each yurt can sleep 4 and contains a comfy king size bed where guests can lay and look at the stars through the stargazing window, two single futons can also provide extra beds*.

The spacious fully insulated yurts have a fully equipped kitchen with all crockery, utensils, pans, cleaning equipment etc included. Running hot and cold water, a cosy log burner, large power bank, hairdryer and plenty of storage.

You will find salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and milk to use during your stay. Plus plenty of board games and extra fleece blankets to snuggle up in if the nights turn cold.

Chill out on your own large, private decking area. Here you will find a BBQ, log burner, seating and a fridge. Guests can sit and enjoy views across the fields and hedgerows and see Laurel Vines Vineyard in the distance.

Both inside and outside, strings of solar powered lights add a magical touch.
The shared Highland cow theme bathroom facilities have hot showers and flushing toilets, and are only a 30 second walk from the yurts (umbrellas are provided in the yurts in case of bad weather).
Bedding, towels and a 10kg tub of logs are provided (additional tubs of logs can be purchased).

A couple of the younger Highlands are normally in the paddock at 1 side of the campsite, with the goats in the little wood at the other side of the site. The young Highlands are also in the shed for various experiences throughout the weeks, so guests staying on site can go and visit them any time that an experience isn’t taking place, but if you wish to do one of our experiences, these need to be booked separately through our website.

The yurts have a 2 night minimum stay.

*No bedding is provided for the futons, extra guests must bring their own.

Friendly neighbours!

Camping and Cows

Meeting the Cows & Goats

Some of our cheeky young highlands are usually in the field right next to the campsite and will be waiting for a welcome scratch on the chin.

The young Highlands are also in the shed for various experiences throughout the week, so guests staying on site can go and visit them any time that an experience isn’t taking place.

Our Goats are in the little wood at the other side of the site (Ziggy may even come onto the site to meet you!) but please do not feed any of the animals around the farm.

If you wish to do one of our experiences, these need to be booked separately through our website.

There is also a picturesque three-mile walk which circles around all of our land. On this easy going walk, you’ll be able to see all the rest of our fluffy cows and the wildlife here at Dumble Farm.

Local area

The River Hull valley provides relaxing scenic walking routes to several destinations near the farm. Laurel Vines vineyard (1.5 miles), the Crown and Anchor Pub (2 miles) and the stunning market town of Beverley (3.5 miles) are all in easy reach for keen walkers.
Despite its secluded location Dumble Farm enjoys good transport links. Visitors can use the train station in the village to head south to Beverley, Hull or on to York. Or take the train north to the coastal towns of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough.
