Making a REAL Impact on 2SLGBTQI Issues
Egale Canada’s work is data-informed and begins with community-based action-oriented research to better understand 2SLGBTQI experiences across a number of areas including education, employment, healthcare, and housing. This critical research informs the education that is developed in order to work towards long-term systemic change. Our awareness campaigns amplify community voices, experiences, and promote the educational initiatives to shift the culture of inclusion across sectors and societies. Legal advocacy ensures that our communities have the best possible legislative protections and that the work we do is lasting and reflected in policies at all levels.
