I love this picture of my Momma and Kash!Image

My Mom is so glad to have Zach home!
Image So my Mom got a call on Thursday morining from the Warden at the Prison that Zach was in and of course thoght something terrible had happened as she has never received a call from them. But this was not at all the reason for the call, they told her to come and pick Zach up, that he could be released as soon as my parents got there!! It turns out Zach's time had already been served and they were holding him past his sentencing!!! Zach has been in for almost 5 years!! This has been such a trial for our whole family but we pray that this time Zach will be able to be the strong amazing man that I know he is. He has a lot of little people (nieces & nephews) that love him so much & need him in their lives. We love you Zach and I am so glad you are home! What a great Christmas we will have this year!!

They even had a Santa Dog!! He just sat there like a good boy the whole time!!!

Image Kenzie girl & Santa

Image I even got my chance to sit on Santas lap!!!

ImageEven Kash sat with Santa this time, he was a little nervous but he toughed through it & told him he wants dirtbikes!

Image
A couple of weeks ago at our Ward party Santa came to visit & Derick was quite dissapointed because Santa's boots were part of his costume, they were the kind that were part of the pants that covered his real shoes....Derick picked up on that RIGHT AWAY and was NOT IMPRESSED!!! However this Santa was the real deal....REAL BOOTS AND A MRS. CLAUS WITH HIM!!! Derick was pleasently convinced!!! This was a house in Maricopa that was decorated with tons of lights and they sat in the garage...Such a great idea and the kiddos loved it!!!

Image
I thought this pic of Claira and Mrs. Claus was so funny!!

Image So our good friend Keith has Season Tickets to the Phoenix Suns games, and every now and again he lets us use his seats. We took Derick with us this time as he has never been and these seats were front row!!! Needless to say the night got off to a great start for both Derick AND Erick, there were two of the Suns Dancers in the entrance I am bummed because it is such a dark picture but you can see they are both grinning from ear to ear!!! The game was a really great game, Derick loves cheering and booing and yelling and eating popcorn and soda!! All in all it was a great night with our little Man!! Thank you so much Keith for this great time that Derick will never forget!!!

Funny picture!!

Image
This is Derick when he was 2. It was Game Season and we were up in the mountains working with Daddy. This Elk head was mounted on our reefer truck and when we had a lot of hunters in at once and Erick and I both had to work and could not keep a close enough eye on Derick as hunters backed in and out this is where we would put him! He LOVED IT! The hunters all got a kick out of it too! Many of them knew him from infancy so they loved seeing him grow each year! We miss that part of the business. Game season was a lot of work but it was also a really great family time!

Tues & Wed.& Thurs. Thanks!!

Image The finished product!! Nothing amazing, I know but it was important to me!!
Image I was SO mad at Erick for taking this photo. He thought the whole thing was so so funny, and told me that someday I would be happy he took this picture, he was right...but don't tell him I said that!!

Image My Momma and Daddy!!!

Soooo I did not get online on Tues. or Wed. So it is now Thurs and I have a lot of catching up to do!!
I am going to do this one a little different....I am going to write about one big thing that I am so thankful for!
I am thankful for my Momma!!! My Mother is such an amazing person. One of my most favorite memories of her is when we were little and in bed. Sometimes she would go to the piano and start playing music. Which ever of us kids heard her first would get the rest and we would take our blankies and pillows and go lay on the floor in what we called the Piano room and listen to her play and fall asleep. My poor Dad would then carry us all to our beds. It was a special time for our whole family. I can also remember my Dad sitting on the couch or in the rocking chair just smiling and enjoying my Mothers music as well.
Another favorite for me is on Derick's 1st birthday. I was so excited that my first baby was turning 1. It is kind of a huge milestone, so I wanted everything to be perfect! We were having a huge party. So I was making the cakes and I read the recipe wrong and the cakes totally burnt and overflowed in the oven. To say I was destraught would be a huge understatement. So what do I do first??? Call my Mom!! She told me to relax and that all would be ok. I then heard her hollar to my Dad "Honey does your plane have fuel?" She then returned to me and said "honey don't you worry about a thing. I have already started getting everything out to make you a cake, Daddy is going to get his airplane ready and we will be there with the cake in an hour and a half. That will give you enough time to still decorate them right?" Seriously who does that??? My Mom does!!! (Not to short change my Dad he is amazing too but this is not about him!! ;) I will to his post another time!)
I have NEVER in my life questioned my Moms love for me. She has been there for me through everything in my life. She never misses a beat when it comes to her children or anyone that she loves for that matter. Actually she would do anything for anyone that I love even if she does not know them!! No LIE!! My Mom is one of the most selfless people I know. She gives of herself fully to others and to the Lord. I am thankful that Emily Lynette Wright is my Mother! My prayer is that one day my children will feel as loved and devoted to by me, as I do my Momma!!

Karina, Courtney and I have beed best friends since HighSchool and have been through so much together. We have always been there for eachother no matter what is going on in our lives. Both of these girls has been at the birth of all of my children except Paiz...she took too long! And I have been there for the birth of their babies too! I love these two girls so much and am so so thankful they are my friends & that I know that no matter how much time has passed we can pick up right where we left off like it has only been a day!

Paiz and her Daddy!! ( I just loved this picture and had to throw it in!)
So Derick started soccer again this last month. His team has pretty much all his best buddies on it! They have a really great time playing all together. The games are pretty exciting too...this is far better than his first year when he was 4, we have ruled out sports for the kids until they are at least 5 and kind of understand what they are doing!! Derick is really good at sports, he is kind of a natural athlete. He is VERY competitive, which is good and bad. He and Hunter keep track of how many goals each one gets every game to see what one did better!! (they don't keep score at these games, which if you ask me is totally lame!! These kids need to know how to loose and win!) ANYWAYS...
I know I am posting a lot right now but we had a very busy weekend!!

Judy's Unbirthday!!

Image Keylee enjoying some of Judys "unbirthday" cake!
Image All the kiddos waiting for Judy to walk in the door to yell SUPRISE!!

Image
Judy and Paizly she just loves her Paizly!!

Image
Kash also enjoyed the cake!!!
We have a neighbor named Judy that my kids have kind of adopted as another Grandma. They love going to her house because she always has candy and snacks and juice boxes for them. They usuallly go over and sit and watch cartoons and eat popcorn with Judy. I call on her all the time to come and hang out with the kids while I am running back and forth to school or soccer etc. Judy is always more than willing to come over and be with the kiddos. She loves them so much and always says "I don't understand why your kids like me so much" I tell her it is because she loves them and they know it!! So anyways, being the wonderful neighbor that I am...I totally forgot Judys birthday this year!! So we had a little "unbirthday suprise" party for Judy. We got a few balloons and made a cake and asked her to come over. The kids all yelled suprise and thought it was great!! So thanks Judy for all the times you come over and help out we appreciate you and are so glad that your our neighbor!!
