This endangers our fundamental rights, our freedom - and ultimately our democracy.
We have made ourselves too dependent: on algorithms that influence our opinions, on platforms that control our communication, on corporations that dominate political processes.
Our mission
It must not stay that way.
The Center for Digital Rights and Democracy is a response to this. We are reclaiming narrative sovereignty, creating publicity for basic digital rights, putting pressure on companies and politicians and offering solutions on how to free ourselves from dependency.
Our approach: Talking alone is not enough. We act.
