Sustainability is one of the main VanWonen focus areas on our path to the healthiest generations in the world. With our work, we want to make a positive contribution to people and the planet. And we want to keep looking for new ways to maximize our impact in terms of sustainability.

We build carbon-neutral homes, using circular and bio-based materials as much as possible. For living environments, we focus on biodiversity, nature conservation and climate adaptation. Vital living environments, because they encourage healthy behaviour and help people make healthy choices. Living environments that are inclusive, where everyone - regardless of age, disability, social class or ethnicity - can live and coexist happily. Where everyone feels at home, is involved in the development from the very beginning and remains so afterwards. Where everyone helps each other, to become and remain the healthiest generation.
