The Sears Initium MVP prize will be awarded $1000 by the EngHack leadership team to an individual who clearly goes above and beyond during the hack. This individual demonstrates skill and leadership throughout the event. The MVP not only exhibits qualities of fair play and personal integrity but demonstrable technical prowess in defining, designing and contributing to team success. As defined in Sears 'Culture of WOW Values' - A player who makes a team great, is more valuable than a great player.

The pure difficulty of the your implementation of the project. When judging this we'll take into account the usage of an API to implement the core feature of the project and how complex the project looks. -
Creativity
The originality of your idea, approach, implementation, and/or design of the project. -
Usefulness
The value of the real world applications that can result from your project. This will be measured in the genuine difference it will make in everyday life. -
Overall Impression
How your product is seen as a whole. Presentation aspects (like design and potential business applications) that stand out.
