OPTI-PLAN-E
Ongoing Project
An innovative SaaS platform designed to simulate Cyprus’s day-ahead electricity market and support long-term energy planning through 2050. Built for energy stakeholders including policymakers, utilities, market operators, and investors, it helps optimize energy production, reduce costs, and meet key regulatory targets such as emissions limits and renewable integration. With built-in energy storage modeling, it enables smarter, future-ready decisions for a sustainable energy system.

DSM4islands
Ongoing Project
The DSM4islands project aims to leverage Demand-Side Management (DSM) to accelerate the energy transition in islanded energy systems. By transforming passive energy users into active participants, DSM can help integrate more variable renewable energy (VRE) and improve grid stability, contributing to EU climate objectives. The project will develop standardised DSM solutions applicable to various regions, demonstrating how optimised energy management, through technologies like electricity and heat storage, can maximise the benefits for flexibility providers and enhance energy efficiency, ultimately supporting Europe’s net-zero emission targets.

RISEnergy
Ongoing Project
Research Infrastructure Services for Renewable Energy (RISEnergy) project is dedicated to fostering a long-term, coordinated research effort among leading private companies and research institutions to advance energy technologies within the EU. RISEnergy targets the EU’s Horizon Europe Framework Programme topic focused on “Research infrastructure services to enable R&I addressing main challenges and EU priorities,’’ specifically addressing the sub-topic “RI services for renewable energy technologies and systems”. In this regard, RISEnergy aims to integrate services provided through a network of energy-related research infrastructures (RIs) in both the EU and Associated Countries, namely in the fields of Photovoltaics (PV), Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)/ Solar Thermal Electricity (STE), Hydrogen, Biofuels, Wind Energy, Ocean Energy, Integrated Grids, Energy Storage, Material Science and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

ODEON
Ongoing Project
ODEON demonstrates and integrates innovative solutions to create an inclusive ecosystem of stakeholders characterized by the integration of a mesh of Data, Intelligence, Service and Market flows in the energy system. ODEON enables the resilient operation of the energy system considering the increased RES integration, and the effective orchestration of the flexibility from assets residing at the edges of the system.
