Elijah's Birthday

Elijah's Birthday was in May so I realize these are a little out of order. I figured turning 26 was something worth posting. We went out for pizza and came back home for ice cream cake. I made the cake and it was really fun. I can say that there are some things I would change next time I make one because the different layers didn't want to stay together.

Summer Fun

I know it's been a long time since my last post so I decided to update everyone on the blog.
My parents and Leslie came out  to visit and to see Bradley get baptized. We went down to Idaho Falls for free ice cream. Farr's ice cream was trying to break the world record of how many scoops they could serve in an hr. I don't know if they broke the record but we had fun eating ice cream together.

I got to see my oldest nephew, on my side of the family, get baptized. I loved being there and sharing this experience with my family. I teared up a little at how big my nephews and niece are getting. I still can't believe that Bradley is old enough to get baptized. After the baptism we went back to Naithan's for a bbque.

Christmas in Illinois

I realize this post is long overdue but I have been so busy with school it has been hard for me to update the blog. We got to do some fun things while we were there. We went over to Aunt Gail's and played on the four wheeler. We had a rope attached to the back of the four wheeler and someone would hold on to the rope. Dad came up with this idea so two people could slead at once. He even got on the four wheeler for a tlittle bit. Looking back I think it was a little dangerous but I felt safe with Elijah driving.

We also made candies and dipped chocolate. This is a tradition that we do in Elijah's family and it was so fun to share it with my side of the family. Everyone had so much fun putting their hands in it. Kaylee had a blast but Melanie wasn't sure what to do with all of it. She just kept looking at it like you want me to put my hand it that?

We also go the chance to go to Nauvoo my cousin's sealing. It was the first live sealing I was able to go to since my own wedding. It was such a good experience and I was soo happy that we got to be there for Cami and Ryan. We also had a blast at the reception were we danced the night away! Elijah took turns dancing with all the nieces and Mel just seemed to hang onto him. It was so cute
