We have teams at all standards playing across three league systems. Whether you’re playing your first competition or a seasoned veteran, we have a team for you.
Local Leagues (ELTTL)
We have 6 teams across 5 divisions that compete in the Edinburgh and Lothians Table Tennis Leagues. Matches are every week. Home fixtures are on Fridays at St Leonard’s Land and away fixtures are throughout the week across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. We also have 2 teams competing in the handicap cup. Our teams cover a very wide range of abilities and trials usually take place during Welcome Week or the first week of teaching.
British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS)
We have 3 Men’s teams and 2 Women’s teams which compete in various different BUCS league and cup competitions against universities across the UK. League matches usually take place over a weekend of fixtures in one location and cup fixtures usually take place on Wednesdays either at home in St Leanords Land or away across the country.
There is also BUCS Individuals usually held in Nottingham in November and the SSS Championships in early February to look out for.
Scottish National League
There are currently 3 Edinburgh University teams in the Scottish National League in Divisions 2, 4 and 6. Competition takes place in October, November and February at the Bell’s Sports Centre in Perth.
