All I Want for Christmas....

....is a Healthy Family. Between the four of us the last six weeks have consisted of 10 colds, 1 ear infection & 3 bouts with the stomach flu. Yesterday was the first day since Halloween we have all been healthy. What are your favorite immune boosters? We're obviously lacking over here.

Wedding Bells

Image

My baby brother is married! Beautiful ceremony in the Bountiful Temple followed by a most delicious luncheon and beautiful reception. Goodness all I had to do was show up and before the reception even started I was ready to go to bed. Weddings are wonderful, but exhausting. :) Here's the only decent pics I managed to get. Jess looked stunning -- wish I had gotten a picture of her full gown. Congrats to Brandon & Jess!

I Got My Vacation

Image

Cameron and I just spent the last 5 days in Seattle visiting Margaret and her new baby girl, Carly. We planned my trip to overlap the time that Jody was there too. We visited, ate delicious food, shopped, were spoiled rotten by Nana, spent two of the days never even changing out of our pjs, and ate up that beautiful Carly! It was heavenly. The break from my normal routine and responsibilities was wonderful. And getting to spend time with Margaret, Carly & Jody was priceless.

And so ends my 5 month blogging hiatus. Life has been busy around here with lots happening. Some day I'll share the stories.

I Need a Vacation

We just got back from 2 weeks of vacation last Saturday. We had lots of fun. But Mamma came home very tired. I felt like I needed a vacation from vacationing. Anyone else feel this way after traveling with kids? :) I promised Brandon I would post this video he took of me falling asleep on the car ride down to Lake Powell. Please note he was driving while taking this video with his iPhone. Whoever says men can't multitask has obviously never met CuteBoy Brandon.

When I've fully recuperated and my house looks less like a tornado hit, I'll post all our lovely pics.

Time for a Change

With the hot summer approaching (or so we thought) both kiddos got haircuts last month. I'm missing Kennedy's long hair, but her little A-line bob sure is cute. Cam and daddy buzzed their heads together. Then a few days ago I cut my bangs - not realizing how similar it would make our current haircuts. So Kennedy and I are rather twinnish looking ourselves :P. James and I both have little miniature versions of ourselves - just one of the perks of parenthood. :)

A little cooperation

Holy Smokes! When did Provo turn into Seattle? It started out refreshing, but now it's getting old.
We haven't been wearing much of these lately...

Family Pictures

Image

We may have been Kaela's biggest challenge yet. ;) She did a great job with what we had to offer -- 2 worn out parents, 1 exhausted baby & 1 Miss Independent 2 year old.
The fact that she was able to capture any successful pictures speaks volumes about her talent. :) You can see more of Kaela's work & info on how to schedule her here.

Where's Nathan?

Meet Nathan. Friend from Texas. Took a month long vacation up to Provo to defend his Master's Thesis at the Y. Spent countless hours with the kiddos. Became Kennedy's new best friend. Adopted as 'Uncle' Nathan. Kennedy asks me all the time, "Where's Nathan?" We miss him dearly.
