side.step 2025
Description
A new platform supporting choreographic work through rehearsal space, development time and studio showings, side.step, presents it's inaugural season of performances at Balmain Town Hall.
Divided into Program A & Program B, witness the outcomes of each choreographer's 20 hours of development time. Make a night of it and see both programs back to back or make a weekend of it and spread your attendance across two evenings.

All box office sales are shared equally amongst the side.step artists, so please consider adding a donation to your ticket to show your support.
The design of this platform allows artists to side step the unpredictability and administration of the grant process and get straight to doing what they do best. Making dance.
side.step is a new initiative by artist Ella Watson-Heath supported by Critical Path & Inner West Council.
