I am looking for any with Agents of Shield or Harry Potter. I've read a few but most don't seem to be finished. Hope some one has some links. Thank you.
Phone and internet is my biggest expense after rent, too. I switched when my building got FIOS, because Comcast raised my bill every year, but never gave me any more/better service. I asked to drop cable and they said that if I did, instead of a ten dollar yearly increase, it would be a 20 dollar yearly increase. Pay more for less. Goodbye Comcast. But Fios is just as bad. Deregulation is a very bad thing. I blame Reagan, it was his idea to deregulate everything. Republicans are not your friends.
Get ALL money out of politics. Get rid of the electoral college. Huge amount of assistance for health care, housing, and education. Make healthcare and education free altogether, if possible. A healthy and well-educated populace is the best defense against orange morons getting into office.
2. If you had to survive off of one specific type of food, what would it be and why?
Tacos. Real ones, not those 'flour tortilla filled with crap' ones. Real ones have grain, meat and/or beans, cheese, and vegetables: onions, lettuce, tomatoes. Also, I freaking love tacos.
3. If your life were a play, what would it be (tragedy, comedy, drama, etc.)?
Comedy, definitely a comedy. A farce, actually.
5. What community is your favorite and why?
Torchwood of course. Because there is so much really great fan fiction out there, and because if you don't love Ianto madly, there is something seriously wrong with you. Sherlock would come second, because there are some truly amazingly good writers in that fandom, but I am mad for Torchwood.
6. When did you realize you were finally an adult and how did it make you feel?
Don't think I've quite made it there yet, and at this age, don't think I'm ever going to. That is absolutely fine with me.
Haven't posted anything here in forever. Still here, though. Still reading all the lovely TW and occassional Sherlock fanfiction. What a wonderful thing is fanfiction. Not something I could do, but I so appreciate those who share theirs.
Does anyone else find it off-putting when someone puts 'don't like, don't read' at the beginning of their post? For some reason it makes me just not want to read it even if I thought I would like it. It just seems kind of rude, maybe? Anyone?
Just to show how much Torchwood has invaded my brain, here's a quote from BookRiot.com:
"The work of archivists might be among the most important least heralded anywhere. "
and first thing that popped into my head was 'Yes, Ianto is proof of that.'
A few years ago, there were bad, bad storms in Wales, and my first thought was that the weevils would be coming up out of the sewers. Seriously, I need help, people.
Edit: look at all the icons that are now below my posts. I don't think I like that.
