“We, not I” - Exun Clan’s motto is applicable to all spheres of life. Continuing our tradition from the past years, Build is an event that requires participants from a team to come together and create.

Build at Exun 2021 will feature three separate sub-events, the Designathon, Hackathon, and Unreality (Game, 2D/3D & Audio Design). There’s room for you to showcase your ability and create something meaningful, no matter what your creative interests and skills are!

Build will be held over 5 days during Exun Week, after which qualified teams will have a chance to showcase their creations in a pitch.

It is open to all teams of students, and they may participate in one or more Build events, since participation in one sub-event does not affect the other(s).

Requirements

Pushpagandha Kar—schoolgirl by day, gamer girl PushpaGG by night — had dropped the $10 bill that enabled Charlie’s adventures through Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. In an alternate reality, she carried a wallet and consequently used the fated bill to purchase the chocolate Charlie otherwise used to escape poverty. After earning her ticket to the factory, she breezed through the tests and earned ownership of the factory.

Following this, the Oompa Loompas were faced with the troubling realisation that their new factory owner was 11 years old, only interested in fun and had no experience whatsoever running a factory. They approach you, Koyal Lakhwani, CTO of Upma Lupma Ultd.

Your job is to build a product which will make running the factory easier, the problems it solves could be:

Increasing Oompa Loompa productivity (bonus, company management etc.)

Training Oompa Loompas in skills vital to run the factory

Or any other problem which you think PushpaGG might face running a large industrial establishment

The following are to be delivered:

1. A functional web / mobile / desktop / command-line app which aims to solve one of the outlined problems for managing the chocolate factory

2. A pitch deck which describes what your project does, how it helps solve the issue.

3. A demo video - a screen capture of you going through the app
