[Leonhardt decided to ask a question on the journals, mostly because he's rather bored and trying to find some ideas of things to use the camera on. That and what people find worth recording. There may be something he's not aware of that would be worth having a record of to look over again and again.

While he's starting to write, his cat jumps up in his lap wanting attention and she happens to turn the voice function on. So while he won't be speaking, one can hear a song in the background (See here for English translation). Also the sound of a cat purring can be heard and all that can be seen in the journal's camera is a black cat, though at least it isn't her butt showing. He doesn't realize what happened quite yet since he's trying to write around cat paws getting in the way. Animals always did seem to want attention at the worst times.]

A hypothetical question for all of you.

Let's say you got a camera and the ability to take one picture of one subject within this world. Either one person, place or thing, no group photos. You can choose a location we have only been to in a draft or mission, it merely has to currently exist in this world. What would you choose?

For those who do not know what a camera is, consider instead that you can get a painting made of one person, place or thing instead with such detail that it appears real.

[And now he catches on to the voice function being on and shuts it off and then adds one last written part.]

[Eventually he makes his way home, though more subconsciously than consciously. If he could avoid it, he'd stay away from Yun if possible. But he really just wanted to get inside and out of the cold. He was freezing, and it wasn't even that cold outside, just dreary and overcast. He'd know better when he got inside and tried to warm up if that was the new penalty or just an effect of what had happened. The first day back was always the worst, after all.

It was late when he posted an entry because he definitely couldn't fall asleep.]

What do you do to distract yourself enough to be able to sleep? Or in general.

[The first thing Leonhardt does is he goes ahead and heads home. Yun must be worried sick by now. Thankfully he arrived back not too far away from house 24, so there's little chance for running into others.

He'll go ahead and write a message on the journals as well. Though he has definitely checked the entries for the time he was gone to have an idea of what happened.]

My apologies to any who may have been worried about my late return from the draft. It would appear that it is becoming a tradition for me not to spend the end of October in Luceti. I am already aware of what happened by reading the journals, unless there is something that was not mentioned there?

And I see new arrivals have started to come. I'll give two very useful pieces of information to all of you. First, the Malnosso didn't bring you here. This world did. And the second is to not bother with the barrier. Even if you can break it, which you won't, it's not going to get you home.

[And with that, he'll go ahead and turn off the journal. All his responses will be written since his penalty is a loss of his ability to speak. After that, he'll be found in the battle dome doing some practice, and he'll be there pretty late. It's pretty normal, after all, to have trouble sleeping after coming back from the dead and he remembers that very well from the last time.]

For any that knew him, Joshua Bright has returned to his world.

And all of you can keep the pity to yourselves. I don't want to hear it and won't be responding.

[And with that, he shuts off the feed. And true to his word, he won't be replying to anything on the journals. Instead he's leaving a note to Yun to let her know that he needs some time to himself and won't be back until late.

He's wanting to avoid people in general right now, so he's going to keep away from his normal places that he likes to go. Instead he'll be found in the farther off locations like the beach and hot springs, using the teleporters to get out there. Then he'll head to the forest and one of the tree houses until he finally returns home quite a bit after it gets dark and Yun is likely to be in bed.]

[Anyone in the plaza at night on the 8th may catch Leonhardt coming out of the tunnels and he definitely doesn't seem like his normal self. He's not even looking capable of walking in a straight line. Still, he's stubborn and going to try to make it home on his own. Even if it takes a long time and he has to stop a lot to rest and get his bearings.

Though after leaving the tunnels he'll stop and lie down on one of the benches for a time. Feel free to catch him there. No absolute set in stone plans for him getting home other than eventually Joshua will find him.]

[And then a couple days later since he's feeling somewhat better, but still stuck in bed he'll make a written post to at least have something to do. It's a theory he has that he'd been wanting some more information on anyhow and just had put it off since it didn't really directly pertain to finding out more about Luceti itself.]

I have a query for those here. I have noticed with many I have spoken with that there seems to be an inverse correlation between worlds having magic or worlds having technology. Few worlds seem to have a great deal in both areas or combine magic with technology like my own does.

I do wish for some more data to aid in proving this true or false. If any could be so kind to share if their world has magic and if their level of technology is greater than, less than, or equal to that in a house or apartment in Luceti, I would greatly appreciate it. Written responses would be preferred.

[Leonhardt is definitely so glad the experiment is over. The last effect he got was definitely the worst thing the Malnosso could have ever done and he was glad he didn't have to deal with four days of that like he did with the body swap and changing to Renne.

But they did have something else come up, it seems that someone from his world went home. Of course, Joshua was in no shape to make the normal announcement so he gets to do that. And he'll just get that over with.]

For those who may have known her, Estelle Bright has returned to her world.

[And there is a definite hint of bitterness to that announcement. He is the one who wants to go home, not to be left behind to try and support Joshua when he knows he isn't able to as well as Estelle does. And then there are other circumstances as well as to why he would not be pleased with this.]

[And after that, Leonhardt will be attempting to distract the both of them. He can be found behind house 24 for a time burning some things in a fire. Then once that is dealt with, he'll be in the battle dome and village for a time and will also make a stop at the memory garden.]

[Between moving to house 24, that recent mission and some other things, it's been some time since Leonhardt had actually cooked anything here since returning. Just a bit strange overall to even be living with others again, really.

So tonight he's going to try a few new recipes to cook a nice dinner for the three of them. He has a few things on the stove set to simmer for a time and walks off for a bit to do something while waiting.

And that would be to pose a question he's been wanting to ask about over the journals.]

What is the strangest creature you've ever seen? What made it so--

[And then his question is interrupted by a loud popping sound that sounds suspiciously like gunfire. The journal feed cuts off while he goes to deal with that. Any responses to this part will come at the same time as responses to the later part.

Housemates will find him in the kitchen soon after that, realizing that there are no intruders ti have caused that sound. No, it was just the eggs he was boiling deciding to explode all of a sudden. Everything else he made has become pretty much an unidentifiable burnt mess that has boiled over onto the stove and floor. Rather strange since Leonhardt usually is a good cook, and making things burn and explode is more Estelle's deal. At least nothing has been set on fire, though they will need to get something else for dinner.

Anyway, some time later after dealing with cleanup and such he'll come back on the journal.]

My apologies for that. There was nothing to be concerned about and no one is hurt. [And definitely no explanation is being given here as to what happened.]

I would still like to hear about strange creatures and what makes them so strange.

[Now he's just needing a distraction because that was not exactly a fun experience and perhaps he can get some information he was wanting through this very normal seeming question.]

[Once he is finally able to leave the clinic, Leonhardt goes outside and he doesn't even care that it is raining. It suits his mood well and he's not even going to bother grabbing an umbrella at one of the shops. One thing he will do before going home is check the smithy again to see if Kernviter finally showed up, which it has, so he will take his rather unique looking gold and brown sword after a moment of staring because he's amazed that it isn't broken and then it will vanish from sight until he needs it. Then he'll leave.

Before leaving the village, however, he wants to make two stops. First will be to the flower shop where he will try to get some Easter lilies. After he obtains those, he will make a stop in the memory garden. He'll leave the flowers by a marker that looks like a butterfly and has a red ribbon tied to it. After doing so, he'll say a silent prayer to the one the marker is for, and also for himself.

Then he will head home, he'll be a bit soaked, but otherwise seemingly fine. Anyone in the village despite the weather is free to stop him at any point. Later on after he's seen Joshua and Estelle he'll go ahead and leave a message on the journals. He could send one to those concerned, but decides it is best to leave it open since he's honestly not sure who would care outside of those who expressed sadness on Joshua's own post.]

Since my departure was announced, I feel it best to announce that I have returned and my memories are intact for those who knew me. My apologies if I am bothering anyone, I merely wished to be sure I did not miss any who would actually care to know.

[Anyway, Leonhardt found himself in need of some sort of a distraction. While he wasn't in the mood for cheery, something more positive was definitely needed.]

A simple question for those willing to answer. What do you like about Luceti?

[And he'll leave it at that. He's not really leaving his apartment today because he doesn't feel like dealing with people face to face right now, but anyone who happens to be near floor 4 of community building 4 may catch him while he's making dinner or chasing his cat who got out while he was headed over to the kitchen.]

[Thanks to a particular comment from Joshua while he was recovering from his injuries during the draft, Leonhardt now has a challenge that he has to see if he can accomplish now that he's fully recovered.

Of course, there is one small snag in this, he's actually never seen a dragon from his world to be able to identify it to do a simulation in the Battle Dome with it (well, not yet, anyway). And then there are so many types that he's not even sure which ones would actually be a worthy challenge. Well, sounds like something he could ask over the journals at least.]

Is there anything that any here can tell me about the most impressive or powerful dragons of their worlds?

I would like to ask a small favor of one who is not among those drafted. I would like to request the services of one who could check up on a small kitten. Merely checking on her once a day to be sure she has food and water would be enough, but I would appreciate anything that can be done.

A few questions for all of you:

Has anyone ever experienced an effect of a kidnapping actually get worse over time rather than better? Or does anyone know of a good way to deal with rather strange recurring nightmares?

[He probably should add asking about how long these effects usually last, because it has been nearly two weeks already, but he's afraid to know, really. Maybe some don't vanish, and if that's the case, he'd rather not know right now.]

[But anyway, after this and responding to anyone who responds, Leonhardt will be doing one thing of very paramount importance, and that will be going and dealing with one potential cause of all the problems he seems to be having as of late. He's convinced there's something strange about that sword he doesn't recall owning and will be making a stop at the smithy to try and obtain something more normal and see if that helps. He'll definitely be trying to speak with whoever happens to be working that day.

He'll also be at the grocery store and clothing store. There's always a need for more food, and with the weather getting cold he's definitely needing some more warm clothes. Feel free to run into him there or around C3 on the way home.]

Now, about one ability Leonhardt has. It isn't anything supernatural, but it is shown in canon that he has a very uncanny ability to be able to read people, especially if he can get a good look into their eyes to get an idea of their emotional state. He's more concerned about their skill in battle, but overall he's looking for anything that tells him the person's overall strength and any weaknesses he can take advantage of. He's not going to get specifics, but even if someone doesn't have an obvious weapon, he'll be able to tell from how they move that they can fight and likely what sort of weapon they use, for instance.

This obviously won't work over the journals, so this only applies if your character meets him face to face. Of course, he will likely read anything not locked on the journals to learn as much as possible about his fellow residents. And likely learn how to filter and hack within at most a month.

Also, one last thing I should note. Leonhardt definitely has some serious issues and will at times have very unhealthy thoughts that can at times tend towards suicidal and these thoughts may show up in brackets in threads. I understand this is something that can bother players or be triggering. If this is the case for you, please mention it in your response so I can keep that bit of introspection to a minimum for you.

1. Are you all right with Leonhardt using this skill on your character? Just need a yes or no here, feel free to elaborate if needed though.
2. If so, what may he find out about your character's strengths? I'm looking more for things he can figure out by looking at them. Like a confident stance, an awareness of their environment as if they are ready for anything. A visible weapon, etc. Stuff like that can help him figure out skill level and style of fighting before he even engages them.
3. And what might he find out about their weaknesses? This would be things like are they a squishy mage (he assumes everyone is a mage, BTW). Can they be provoked easily? Do they lack confidence in their skills? Would they hesitate to hurt or kill someone?
4. Anything else you can think of? If there's anything else you can think of that someone can figure out from sight.

Also, due to his new canon point being from a game not yet relesed in English, and is a huge spoiler by itself, please comment here if you would prefer that I not bring up any plot related spoilers in a thread.
