No LOTR communities!
Apr. 13th, 2010 09:50 pmI am having trouble finding a strictly LOTR based community. No Fan-fic, no speculation on the cast, just discussing the texts, or the life, of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Anyway, I'll start. Does anyone have any suggestions on the size and shape of the Silmarils? Tolkien never really described them, and all the crests of the families with Silmarils(Beren, Earendil, Feanor, etc.) have different shaped Silmarils. They seem to be marble sized spheres, so as to fit on his brow, as he wore them just so, when going to parties and such.
