Chat With Summary
It's great to have when I select a part, it tells me which section of the transcription it comes from. I want to read more about a certain part in the summary, but I need to find it in the transcription having to read through a lot of text.like with perplexity; when I hover over or select the text, it gives me the exact source. I would like something similar in the summary so that when I select a part, it tells me which section of the transcription it comes from.

Devkit2 Battery Drain when Disconnected
Phone: Pixel 9 Pro I've noticed that my device disconnects randomly, a lot. And if I don't notice it, I end up with like, several hours of recorded conversations stored on the device and a dead battery. I still have an 18 hour “conversation” saved to the device that I can't hope to transfer off. I'll have to pull the sd card and handle that manually. But yeah, the frequent disconnections seem to be associated with significant battery drain.

Deleting account does not delete memories
I originally posted this on Discord but it didn’t get a response, so cross posting here. Marking it as high priority because the current functionality vs the policy/statement within the app does not appear to align with function (and may be a breach of European data laws). There is a message in app stating that when you delete the account, all data is also removed. I've done this, and re-registered, and yet all of the conversations, app subscriptions and memories from before are still there and fully accessible. With this in mind when an account is deleted, or when a user deletes individual entries, is any transcriptions/audio/settings data deleted from Omi's services or is it more of a client side tidy up? When a user deletes a conversation/memory from the app, is this retained behind the scenes? I'm curious what data Omi retains pre/post deletion. Thanks

I am a bit disillusioned as my expectations were pretty high, as compared with my Limitless.ai experience (which I'm now frantically trying to replace). Although the Omi pendant seems to be doing the job capturing audio and content, the SEARCHES leave a lot to be desired. Yesterday I had a number of examples where I mentioned specific names, with actions that were taken, even spelling out the names. Later I tried to search for those names and system simply could not find. Later, going conversation by conversation I did find what I was looking for. The names, and the context of the actions were there, but SEARCHING failed miserably. I need to rely on SEARCHES! Imagine I want to search something like...."last month I spoke to Delta Airlines about a refund for canceled flight to London" and it can't find it.... Makes the whole thing come crashing down. I'm very concerned now as to whether I get behind this or look for other solutions....If it's capturing EVERYTHING, then EVERYTHING should be searchable and retrievable. That's why I'm here!!

Battery display and disconnection
Three things I’ve noticed in the short time I’ve been trying to use this device: 1- the battery display indicator in the app can’t seem to decide at what level my battery is. It fluctuates up and down constantly 2- the device constantly disconnects. If my phone is asleep (screen off) or I’m in DND, it disconnects. If I walk 5 feet away from my phone, it disconnects. 3 - I am a technical trainer and I’m struggling with figuring out how to use this device. Training videos, better guides, anything would be better than what you have. Right now I’m so frustrated with the thing that it’ll end up in a drawer with the Rabbit and the Pendant. Make it easier for people to figure out. Why are there apps? How do you know when the pendant is listening? How do you activate various things? Do you always have to have your phone nearby? (Because if the phone is recording and not the device, that defeats the purpose.) Training would make these things easier for those of us who aren’t natural coders. One bonus thing: why are there so many virtual girlfriend apps? It’s a little creepy. If the goal is to have better market penetration, that type of thing may need to go away.

Show me Hidden Patterns in my Life
I want my OMI to recognize personal patterns over a period of time based on stuff I say, experience, etc. And then I want there to be a "Hub" where I can see these patterns and provide feedback (helpful/not helpful). For example, maybe I talk way too much when I have 1:1s with co-workers. I want my Pendant to tell me that. Or maybe my mood tends to be worse when I wake up before 7am. Or maybe I'm a really good storyteller - I want my Pendant to let me know that. Or maybe it can leverage third party data too...things like weather, stock market, key dates, etc. Basically, give me interesting insights/patterns/correlations in my life that I wouldn't think to recognize or connect.

My L. Pendant doesn't record people in the room like it used to.
Back when I was using the Limitless app with this same Pendant, I could record and transcribe conversations happening all day with the same people in the same room. Now, with the same Pendant and Omi, I've noticed I'm not seeing transcriptions of my colleagues' voices, it's like they aren't saying anything. It only captures them if they get very close to me. Same room, same Pendant, same people, same volume, same table position, same work conversations, but the transcriptions are different as if they weren't there... Something feels wrong, maybe the mic sensitivity is messed? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Bug Report: Firmware Update Loop on Omi Pendant
Device: Omi Pendant (Omi Ai) App: Omi Ai App (latest version as of today) Current Firmware: 3.0.7 Expected Firmware: 3.0.9 Description: After receiving my Omi Pendant today, I connected it to the Omi Ai app. Immediately, the app prompted me to install a new firmware update (3.0.9). As a responsible user, I initiated the update right away. The update process runs smoothly and completes without errors. At the end, the app confirms that the update is finished and the device reconnects. Problem: Once the pendant reconnects, the firmware version shown in the app is still 3.0.7. The app again prompts me to install firmware 3.0.9. This process can be repeated indefinitely — the update always appears to succeed but never actually installs the new firmware. Steps to Reproduce: Connect Omi Pendant (FW 3.0.7) to the Omi Ai app. Accept the prompt to update to firmware 3.0.9. Wait until the update completes and the device reconnects. Check the firmware version in the app. Observe that it still shows 3.0.7 and the update prompt reappears. Expected Behavior: After updating, the device should show firmware version 3.0.9 and no longer prompt for another update. Actual Behavior: The device always reverts to firmware 3.0.7 according to the app, and the update loop continues. Impact: Firmware update cannot be applied, leaving the device stuck on the old version.

I think it would be helpful if you just had one main to-do list and they all came in from the start the default color that they are now but you could hold the list item down and select a color and give that color a label like work, school, personal similar to how you tag different speakers in transcripts, that way you can sort your to-do list and then maybe hold the to-do list tab at the top and it would drop down the ones that you created and you can pick which one you want to be at the top. I think it also gives you the ability down the road to let the app learn trends of what items go and what list the same way an untagged speaker when you go to tag it it'll give you a suggestion.

After a whole week using the Omi beta, I can confirm it still drains tons of battery. I caught my phone in my pocket burning like hell a few times during the week because of this. In the last 24h, phone starting at 97%. Omi drained 38% of the battery, followed by Fieldy with a 13% and other social apps like Instagram at 10% or less.
