The technology behind a sustainable material

Circular economy

Our technology utilizes fruits or vegetables that are not used for human consumption after harvesting or food processing and we produce Feltwood material with them.

After obtaining the Feltwood material with the first process, the material is molded to manufacture the final product in a second step.

It is a very durable and recyclable material. It is compostable at the end of its life cycle.

Caring for people and the environment

Feltwood material is exclusively made from vegetable fibres obtained from vegetal by-products from agriculture or food production. Consequently, we do not need to cut down trees for wood or grow the raw material.

Free of toxic substances and pollutants. No plastics, adhesives or binders of any kind are added.

The material can be fully recycled at the end of its useful life to make new products with the same quality. As it is compostable it can be disposed of in nature without causing any kind of pollution.
