Hi, I'm Claudia. Resident geek and creator of strange and wonderful things, but that's not really why I'm posting today, it's really because I was talking to some people, and it occurs to me that with the work around to campus to be done and whatever odd things pop up, it might be useful to know what all people can do.
I don't just mean jobs and education type stuff, either. Like for instance i know a lot where programming, electronics, welding, and chemistry are involved, and can macgyver almost anything in a pinch, but I definitely wouldn't know what to do with myself on a farm without some degree of instruction. And, well, having a list of who knows how to fix a leaky sink or toilet, or who can convert a dorm bed to a loft or whatever could come in handy.
So right now I'm just thinking of some kind of informal spreadsheet where everyone who wants can go and put up the skills they're willing to share. No pressure, but lying or exaggerating could be a problem if someone's desperate for what you said you could do and you can't deliver. Just a way to streamline things. Like a Craigslist for skills.
Anyway, I hope others will pitch in, and until then, peace out!
[With a grin and two fingers held up in a peace sign, the video blanks out, although there is an attached link to a very bare-bones online spreadsheet.]
[OOC: I won't be making the spreadsheet, but assume it's the equivalent of a google sheets with reasonable column headers and such, and open editing rights]
