Founded in 2008, Firestorm Cafe & Books is a worker-owned cooperative in downtown Asheville, NC. We specialize in casual, healthful fare and independent literature.
We feature organic, fairly traded and local ingredients in our scrumptious menu because we want our food to be healthy not only for our patrons but also for our community.
A local access point for information on a range of significant and curious topics, we stock a unique blend of reading material that you won't find anywhere else in the region.
In order to provide you with the highest quality food while supporting the creation of a sustainable, just and local economy, we use ingredients that are organic, regional and/or cooperatively produced. All of our food is vegan and much can be prepared gluten-free at your request.
