Oh wow... I can not believe it has been 9 months since my last posting! Shame, shame, shame... I guess that's the curse of Facebook... you jot off the short simple notes, quickly upload pictures, and its done... but then again, you don't get the real meat of what has been happening... sigh... so hard to keep up with it all!But yes, we have been in Idaho for almost a year now - in fact, a year ago exactly we were traveling across the nation from Florida! hard to believe! We are enjoying being here - the small town of Mountain Home is a wonderful, safe place to live where everyone looks out for each other. Duane's work hours are long and we are gearing up for a 6 month deployment next year, so that part isn't fun... but we are closer to family out here, so we plan on making the best of it and traveling when we can!

Left to right from top: Clarissa on her first day to school! Colin lost his first tooth! Colin jumping into my parents' pool in CA (to my cousin Ryan), the kitchen disaster - Caleb, a little overzealous in his attempt to put out a few spaghetti noodles that caught on fire - he used a fire extinguisher!, and a lovely view of Shoshone Falls not too far from here.
And here's probably my favorite quote from the year - one evening I was making the kids lunches for school the next day, and Colin said "Hey mom, can I take just a piece of cheese in my lunch?" When I said yes, but asked why, he responded "So I can take it, tear it in half, and then say 'Hey guys, I just cut the cheese!'" That's our Colin!
