Character Personality: Winry Rockbell is very much the typical childhood friend. Caring, friendly, down-to-earth, she's willing to give up a lot for her friends and family - and even people she isn't close to. She's willing to do whatever it takes in dangerous situations, though when it comes to the people she loves, she can be a little overemotional. She works hard to get what she wants and doesn't give up easily. The happiness of other people seems very important to her, sometimes more than her own. She also makes friends easily, or at least she tries, and comes to care for them very quickly, which is a bit of a weakness in itself.
Generally, she's just a cheerful, dedicated teenage girl, only with a few... extra issues... thrown in there for good measure. Her parents' deaths, for one matter, though she seems to have given up on any idea she might have had about avenging them now that she's met, and been unable to kill, the one who killed them. She also seems to have some unresolved issues with Edward and Alphonse leaving Rush Valley - it's possible that she could be sick of being "the girl back home," the one who's never told enough about where they go and what they do, even if it is just to protect her (of course, this is just speculation.)
Ugh, I've made her sound like a Mary Sue. FML.
Character Abilities: Winry is extremely skilled at working with automail and machines, and understanding how things work. She's also a sympathetic person, so she's good at understanding how people work, or at least what motivates them to do the things they do.
Character Weaknesses: Her love for family and friends could be considered a weakness; she'd do anything if it were for the sake of one of them. Oh, and she tends to... fly off the handle a bit if you ruin anything she's created. And by "fly off the handle" I mean "beat you within an inch of your life with a wrench."

Why your character should be a Weapon: Winry isn't particularly skilled at fighting, and she'd rather not manipulate another person (unless, of course, it's for the sake of trying to examine their automail.) She'd make an excellent weapon because she's cooperative, and while she isn't a pushover, she'd be fine with letting someone else take control so long as she's still got enough input to make sure they don't do anything silly.
What is your character's Weapon form?: Winry takes the form of... well, a very wrench-like sword, actually. At least, the handle looks rather like a wrench, but the blade is longer and doesn't resemble one as much. If you look closely, you can tell that the blade isn't one continuous piece of metal, but a few different pieces, seamlessly connected - fitting, for a girl whose previous job was to do just that, putting various bits of metal together to form a complete object.
