Ah, the obligatory intro post. Hello, I'm a design student who's been learning Flash for about 5 months now. Still got a ways to go, but I enjoy it...most of the time.

With that being said, I plan to do an animated music video as a personal project, so I needed to divvie up the scenes between parts of the song. I did this with a blank .fla and the song as a stream sound, but when I switched to the real flash with an event sound (too cheapskate to get Audition), the timing was thrown off - everything was slow by a couple of frames. (Except the first scene, but more on that later.)

After completing two scenes with the 'perfected' timeline, testing the swf revealed that the timeline was, again, lagging. The whole thing, even bits untouched since the last working session. I'm slightly frustrated and very sleepy, so I'm going to handle things as they come. I'm secretly worried that someone is going to view the finished .swf and wonder why everything is over in half a song.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on with my scene timing, and what to do about it (save from hand-editing it every scene or so?)?

Thanks in advance for any help. ^^;
