Help with GetURL()

I'm having trouble launching a URL with ActionScript. I'm using a mouse click to open a page.. I'm able to trace text to an output window, so I know the mouse event works OK. But the GetURL() function just doesn't work.

Here is the fla doc: fade_link.fla. There may be style or other issues not relating to the URL issue, I'm fine with letting those go for now.
