Using an animated sequence as a preloader...
ok, all i seem to be able to find online for tutorials of flash preloaders are the kinds that either use some type of progress bar, a running tally on 'bytes loaded', or some looping animation. what if i want to have an animated sequence (ex. a flower growing, a car driving from point A to point B, or even a balloon being inflated till the point where it pops) and sync up the speed/progress of that sequence to the speed/progress of my swf download? is that too much to ask? lol, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

here's another example of what i'm talking about. the loading animation is simply this movie of the "labyrinth" being slowly revealed by a mask.
