Making MP3's available for download, need help

I'm making a flash website for a metal band, and they want some of their songs to be available for download on the site.

How do I do this? I tried simply uploading the MP3's and linking them, but the files just open.... and take forever to do so.

I have Flash MX 2004 and Dreamweaver MX. Anyone know how to make this happen with either program?
