Trying to make a flash video from movie footage for web-site
Publish a video for website
Okay, I'm pretty new at desk-top publishing and my knowledge is zilch and I am starting from scratch so I appreciate everyones help very much :+).
Problems with making a video for the web.
1. Some one asked me to publish a short video of him to a web-site that i have.So he gave me his CD with a video file.So I've tried editing it in final cut pro. The end product is a 250 MB quicktime file. So I imported it into Dreamweaver and had it linked embedded into the index file. When I play it everythings fine and dandy but the problem arises when I click and try to upload it it just can't upload the qucktime file I created - What do I need to do with this file. Am I missing something important here. My hunch is the file is large, but I don't know what to do next...
Any suggestions 4 great tutorials.
2. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can give me pointers on whic terrific site I can go to to learn get tutorials on final cut pro, flash as well as desk-top publishing too...

3. I am also learning to edit dvds on the emac - both are new territory 4 me too. I had the mac upgraded and everythings fresh. I linked my video-cam with the IMovie and it does not recognize any camera attached. I read the instructions of my manual and a couple of books and tried some trouble-shooting. Do I need to install the driver or sum thg. My v/cam is a Hitachi mini-dvd camcorder version DZ-380e.
