Hey. Newbie here. I just started learning Flash a little while ago (using this book, for the curious), and I've come upon two little things I'm wondering about that aren't addressed in the text (afaik).
^ The above is an instance of a movie clip symbol, selected. What's that little cross above and to the left of center?
^ The above is what the current script tab from the Actions panel looks like when the movie clip symbol from before is selected. What's that little red dot in the lower left corner of the movie clip icon?
I know these are probably softball questions for the pros here, but I can't think of an easier way to find answers to these. Thanks for any help.
