Learning Flash on DVD??

Hey all, I hope you can help. 8)
A friend of mine has already taken a beginning Flash course.. he's planning on becoming a graphic/web designer. I was wondering if any of you could point to some really good learning resources as the college classes locally don't seem to offer much. BTW, he doesn't have any formal coding classes except for HTML type stuff.
