SWF file into indesign document (probably a dumb question)

i'm trying to insert a swf file into my indesign document and can only get a "need filter to complete operation" warning.

any idea what this filter is or where i can get it? or how i can go about getting my swf in?
(Note: I don't want to convert my swf to quicktime, although i've done this before and had no problems with it co-existing in indesign)
