newbie here

hello everyone. i'm new to this community and new to flash. i've been getting into flash lately and i've been wanting to learn about it. i need some help since i'm a beginner to this. i know i wont learn this over night and all that but its better to try then to not try at all. i just want to get started on flash and start off with basic movies. cheap 10 second movies, doesn't matter, anything is fine. do any of you recommend any flash programs/websites that i should visit for starting out with this flash buisness? i'd greatly appreciate the help from all of you (if i even get anything) so thanks in advance!
