Have any of you ever tried doing object-oriented programming in Matlab before? Is it silly? Is it useful? Any major caveats?
Despite using Matlab for the past several years, I didn't realize until today that one could do object-oriented programming with it, with inheritance, class methods, and so forth. I consider myself historically better at object-oriented programming than procedural programming, so if it turns out that object-oriented coding in Matlab is more than a carnival oddity, that would be quite useful to me. |
