Christmas 2014

Christmas Eve was pretty low key at the Forman household this year.  Tank and Lindsey flew into DFW that afternoon, and we basically just hung out the rest of the evening.  Brady made us fettuccine and Olive Garden salad for dinner.

Christmas morning was actually a lot more exciting than I thought it would be.  Kelsey surprisingly was all smiles when she saw all the presents under the tree.

Patiently waiting for Dad to finish setting up the presents.  At one point she was laying on the floor trying to look under the door.

Carriage Ride

One of my favorite places in Texas is Watters Creek, and I love it even more during Christmas time.  They have free carriage rides every night in December so we decided to try them out.  I think we will make this a yearly tradition since we had such a good time.  I think Kelsey's favorite part was the free candy cane, but I think she liked the lights as well.

Hickey's Visit

My parents came to visit for Kelsey's birthday, and Brady decided to pick them up from the airport like this:

Apparently people think you are important when you dress like a Russian mobster.  This man asked Brady to explain to his friend on the phone where they were....so weird.

My parents got Kelsey a toy dog, and we can't quite tell if she likes him or not.  She would follow him around yelling for about 15 minutes at a time....it was hilarious.

After Kelsey's party the boys went to the Frisco Gun Club to test out Brady's gun.

My Mom said the only thing she wanted to do was to take Kelsey on a walk to the park.  I think they both had a good time.

Of course we had to start celebrating the holiday season by checking out the local Christmas attractions.

We also picked up our Christmas tree at Home Depot.

Kelsey was not much help when it came to decorating the tree.  However, she did do better than my Dad who just made fun of us while he laid on the couch.

Let the ornament breaking begin!

Kelsey's Party

Kelsey's party was a huge success in my opinion.  No kids were injured, there was plenty of food, and Kelsey LOVED her cake.
Of course we went with the "Frozen" theme....just like every other little girl in America.  We also decorated snowflake cookies and ate pizza.

Brady and my Dad were in charge of the cookie making prior to the party.

I was so glad my parents were able to fly out to celebrate with us.  They ended up being a big help since throwing a party is no easy task.

Kelsey seriously loved eating her cake.  My Mom ended up having to take it away from her because she almost ate the entire massive piece we gave her.  She was on a total sugar high the rest of the night.

My Aunt Lucy drove up from The Woodlands to celebrate with us too!

You can't tell from these pictures, but at one point the whole upstairs play area was filled with balloons for the kids to play with.  The older kids stayed up there the entire time and had a blast.

The party favors were pretty simple.  Each kid took home a little baggie of powdered donuts that were in the shape of a snowman.
Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate!
