Updated Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio 1.7.2 officially released!

We have released an update to the MainConcept Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio that resolves the following issue:

1. [MCBMD-90] The XAVC LongGOP 50 XDF-01 ARD/ZDF preset now creates streams with the correct video bitrate and 24-bit audio.

You can request the download for the new version here. If you are an existing licensee, you can also request, download and install the demo version. You activation will continue working.

Installing the plugin yields an error during installation about the Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Redistributable, that it cannot install that element. Consequently, the plugin in Resolve's Deliver page is stuck at Demo mode even though I purchased it back in 2023.
