decrease\decreasing

Hi evrybody.
I'd like to know the correct strucuture to say "decrease the time of doing something i.e the calculation process"
I've got three ideas:
1) calculation process time decreasing
2) decrease the calculation process time
3)decrease the calcultion process timing

any advice would be very appreciated.

    in the first one the word monitoring has a nominal (i.e. of a noun) function, in the second it has a verbal function. Does that help?

    So, when I have to be formal ( Powerpoint's documents) should I use the nominal function?
    And if it's the case, the noun must be placed at the beginnin or at the end of the phrase?

    i.e.
    Creation of this and that or this and that creation?

    For example: the creation of documents is a complex process
    document creation is a complex process.

    Somehow, the first one sounds more natural to me, but the second one is acceptable too.
     
    OT: In italiano non sono sicura che esita un "Futuro Prossimo", esiste il "Futuro Semplice" e il "Futuro Anteriore". Quello che tu intendi è sicuramente l'anteriore.;)

    2) decrease the calculation process time Ok
    3)decrease the calculation process timing is the wrong word. Timing normally means to do to something at the wrong or right time

    Which one is correct?
    It depends on the verb preceding the partial phrase

    We aim at +1) corrected
    Our goal is to +2)

    If something diminishes, there's a reduction.
    If there is a decrease (contrary to increase), it is because an increase is expected and nothing happens?
