I'm looking to create a script that automatically change's items' weight when picked up, based on the class of item. I'm planning to use Event OnItemAdded and a few if statements, but I don't know syntax for how to check if the item is armor / a weapon / food / misc / etc, and I don't know what syntax to change the item's weight. I've looked through what documentation I can find on papyrus and skse, but nothing seems to apply to item properties. I just keep seeing things on doing things manually in the creation kit, which obviously doesn't work for modded items etc. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm a total novice to papyrus and skse. Thanks!

Helmlo, Im Maredark3d I like how many mods are here on Nexus, One kind of mods I like it are the sounds mods, so I have a few mods about sounds like AOS Audio Overhaul for Skyrim, Imersive Sort Compenium, and a few makes by my own, but I dont know a mod what makes a menu to adjust some volume sounds, I want one for the weapons because the sounds are all on effects menu so If I increase the volume of effects then the magic sounds up and the weapon sounds too, I want to know If anyone knows there is a way to make this group of sounds in a different "boxes" or different section to decrease the volumen of weapons, please, I know one way is editing all the sounds and put them a low, but that is a lot of work, maybe tehre is a way to change the volume of weapons thought the .ini files? I dont know, but I will really appreciate some help, thanks!

Hey! I don't really like how clearing corners looks in the game. Basically you need to stay low to activate stealth mode and slow down a bit, but it's not really comfortable, not to mention lack of realism and immersion. Would it be possible to create kind of a movement system overhaul making it at least a bit similar to the one from Escape From Tarkov? I know I can assign console commands concerning movement speed to given hotkeys thanks to FO4 Hotkeys, but it doesn't solve the inability to sneak while standing, which is crucial in CQB. Rest of stuff mentioned in the topic is totally optional as I know there are probably some limitations in the game engine. Cheers!
