In my current playthrough, I am RPing that my farmer absolutely hates Pierre and wants nothing to do with him. (I plan on doing one of these for each shop owner NPC) But I still want to get married... and carry more than 12 different kinds of rocks at a time... Which means I need somewhere else to buy backpacks and bouquets. Which now that I think about it... why does nobody else sell them anyway? - Backpacks Option 1: The obvious... Jojamart. Duh. Option 2: Emily sells the backpacks instead of Pierre. She is a fashion designer, and likes to sew. It makes sense that she might make backpacks for a little extra income. Option 2: The adventurers guild sells them. (And maybe gives the first one free for joining them? or the last one / an extra one if you complete all the slayer quests?) Side option: A clothing slot in the menu for the backpack. And it can be dyed at Emily's like the clothes. - Bouquets Option 1: Once again obvious... Jojamart. Option 2: Evalyn. The sweet old lady who likes to garden and pick flowers, now puts those flowers in a bouquet! Option 3: A crafting recipe. I have HOW MANY chests full of flowers? and I can't find ANY that would make a nice bouquet? uh huh. okay. Alternative solution: Maybe Caroline helps out around the shop for a change and works the counter on certain days instead of Pierre? not like I've ever seen her do anything else with her time... other than dru- I mean drink tea... Or maybe he's teaching Abigail about business in an attempt to dissuade her from venturing into the mines? Resulting in him having her man the shop while he... makes a business trip to Zuzu city or... spies on Joja or something, I dunno. Maybe Caroline and Abby even run the shop together when Pierre's off doing his thing? Anyway, my character would be wiling to buy from them. I'm almost 2 years in, and it's been HELL with the starter bag. And I can't even get a lovely spouse to wait at home to cheer me up after a dozen trips back and forth from the mines...

Hello! I'd like to request a hair style mod. The braid one, but a longer braid and maybe an alt version with bangs on the front, please? ............. Are backpacks possible? like, different styles of backpacks to reflect the preferred magic - spells- classes of the character? things like... Leather Backpack / leather satchel / - with flasks, potions, herbs -with scrolls, quill, books -with stars hanging from it (like the bright broom) small telescope, compass -with quidditch items, the ball, snitch, tiny broom replica hanging from the side -with kitchen items, spoon, tiny cauldron, food -with brushes, stains of paint, pencils, color flasks (paints), rolls of paper -niffler plushie on the side, butterflies stuck to it, or fireflies, magical creature things personalized for different interests like potion making, herbology, creature taming, monster hunting, arts, quidditch, cooking, astronomy... Or maybe to personalize brooms or uniform cloaks if backpacks are not possible honestly I wish I could mod just to try this myself and share it, but I have very little knowledge in it if any at all ..................... and finally a mod to have creature companions, I know the npc companions was already in the game just not implemented, so creature ones is not available yet. But being able to have creature - monster npcs follow you around, even if they dont help in combat, would be amazing... I'd like to be exploring around or walking through hogwarts with a niffler or even a baby thestral ................... Thank you so much to modders for your works and making games more interesting and customized to each players need / desire / wants

Hey... I'm having a problem. I can't seem to find any information on this searching for the term on google or here on the forums... I need to know which mod adds [backpack] Military 3 Days Backpack? The above item is appearing - AS A BOBBLEHEAD - in a couple places inside Vault 111 at the start of the game. I don't know if they appear anywhere else yet, because I don't want to waste my time playing further again if I'm going to have to start over to get rid of them. If these were actually backpacks that actually displayed as backpacks and not bobbleheads, I would keep them, but this is a real big immersion killer... at least so far. I have two suspects, but disabling them doesn't seem to get rid of it... unless I'm missing a component or patch of one of them - certainly, there are enough parts ;) Suspect 1: the obvious one that doesn't appear to be the issue. A mod called "Wearable Backpacks and Pouches" - which I had installed for a few hours prior and didn't notice anything - until I started a new game. I disabled this mod and played through the beginning of the game up until the location I found them in Vault 111 - they're still there with the mod and it's patches disabled... so... Suspect 2: I recently (and possibly against my better judgment) decided to try to install all the requisite mods for "Weaponsmith Extended" - though I'm not sure if that's where these are coming from... I noticed it after installing this mod and all it's pre-requisites and starting a new game. I have not yet disabled all of them and restarted yet again because it's a frustrating time investment and it ... doesn't make sense that it would be this mod or it's pre-requisites, though I can't be sure without doing so... maybe I will later... but I wanted to check here before going through the arduous process of disabling mods 1 by 1, and then re-playing the prologue of the game over and over... to see if anyone knows anything. It takes quite a long time to potentially start a new game 99 times to try and figure this out. Not going to happen... So - does anyone have "[backpack] Military 3 Days Backpack" in their game? And does it display as a bobblehead for you too? What mod do I need to ditch to solve this problem? (or alternatively, what mod do I need to "fix"... I have no clue what added this to my game that is still there on re-start, so I can't exactly mess with load order given that...) If anyone knows what mod adds this, please tell me. I can't STAND this and I really want to play the game ... but if there's going to be bobbleheads laying all over the place ... that's the kind of frustration that makes me uninstall games, which would be a real disappointment because what I've seen of this game so far is fantastic. I'm loving it - or was, until this morning...... FYI - I do not have any official "creation club" mods installed, so it's not a backpack mod from one of those... I've revisited all 99 mod pages looking to see if this item or even "backpacks" are an addition to any of them and I have not found a single thing, except for the backpack mod - and I have it disabled, so it should not be appearing in my game, right? Thanks for any help you can offer......

Hey all, I've been banging my head over this for the past 3 days and haven't made any progress. I wanted to see if Big Leather Backpacks ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65359 ) worked for Skyrim SE, but the backpack model only shows up in the crafting menu at the leather rack. Once I craft the backpack and equip, I am presented with a floating semi-transparent red exclamation point sign. Having no experience porting mods over, I searched around and saw that several people had used Nifskope to replace the mesh in existing mod NIF files, so I downloaded a backpack mod I confirmed working in-game for Skyrim SE - Leather Backpack - Special Edition ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3425 ) and attempted to replace the mesh data using Nifskope. While this works for the mesh in the NIF that shows up in the Inventory, I can't get it working for the character equip NIF mesh; it's still showing a red exclamation point sign. I followed some posts around the forum, and so far here is what my attempt process has been: 'Copy' NiTriShapeData from reference NIF -> 'Paste Over' NiTriShapeData to target NIF 'Copy' NiSkinData from reference NIF -> 'Paste Over' NiSkinData to target NIF 'Copy' NiSkinPartition from reference NIF -> 'Paste Over' NiSkinPartition to target NIFI've also experimented with converting NiSkinInstance to BSDismemberSkinInstance, but not sure if this is something I need to do. Once I do this for both meshes in Big Leather Backpacks, the mesh shows up fine in the target NIF in NifSkope. But in-game, I'm still getting the red exclamation point sign. I've reached a roadblock where most of Nifskope is over my head, so I would greatly appreciate any help on this. (Or if I'm over-complicating it and porting the original mod from Skyrim to Skryim SE would be easier, that would work too...)

BACKSTORY: For some reason, in games I really like my character to have a backpack. It's kind of disappointing to me when I have to stare at my characters empty back for hours, so when I found out that Solas has a backpack with his model I really wanted it, but as you know, you cannot wear a companions armour. To try and fix this I downloaded the 'Equip like Solas mod to see if I could wear his armour. Seeing as his armour is light and I am a Rogue so I can only wear Medium armour, to try and make it work I got the "Armour - No Class Restrictions Remade' mod but when I had both installed, I found out that the "Equip like Solas mod only works with Mages and not any other classes. I don't really know to change this as i'm not experienced in modding. Though, it got me wondering if you could attach Solas's backpack to another model. MAIN REQUEST: What I want is for Solas's backpack to be attached to the 'Medium Armour of the Dragon' and then put in game as a replacement to the original model, which would obviously clip but I don't really mind. I don't really know how to difficult this is, but I do know that Solas's backpack can be separated from his chest in a model editor by simply deleting the parts that aren't the backpack. You can then move it and scale it to fit most player models. Someone has uploaded the companion models onto Facepunch but I don't really know how you'd rip the 'Medium Armour of the Dragon'. Thanks, that is all. LINKS: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1452531 http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Medium_Armor_of_the_Dragon Let me know what you think.

I'm new to modding and have a few questions about the geck. More specifically the Biped Objects when editing armors. So I am trying to add an armor piece that uses a gun mesh but is a purely cosmetic item. Putting a pistol on a hip for example, that can be equipped and unequipped but doesn't actually do anything. My first question is how can I move the meshes so that the clothing item appears in a different spot relative to the player. Currently I have my item under the "Backpack" biped object slot and the pistol mesh shows sticking out of the neck. I wanna know how to move it so it can be in different positions. I have tried editing the mesh in NifSkope but It doesn't seem to change the position. I hope that makes sense. Second, am I able to create custom Biped Object slots so that multiple items can be equipped at once? Currently two items in the backpack slot replace each other when they are equipped. I either need to create new slots or allow multiple armors to be equipped in the same slot. I hope I was clear in what im trying to do, and I appreciate any help :) Thanks

If it's possible to code, I'd be really grateful if someone could make a mod where you can buy a backpack with another row of inventory slots. Thanks for reading!

Could somebody create an armor mash-up for me? it should contain the following clothing parts: the skirt of the armoured operators skirt the top of the disciples armored skirt the boots of the coastal armor (if possible in black) maxsons battle coat (if possible in black) the backpack of the heavy trapper chestpiece i play with the vanilla female body, so no need for cbbe

Someone could create a mod that when you open your pipboy, instead of lifting your hand, your character kneels down (similar to the greeting Dogmeat animation) and peers into their bag, and once the animation is complete, the power armour inventory screen pops up (Instead of the pipboy) ? And would anyone here be willing to try ;)
-
Ok so i've alway thought that power armor looks really sweet when your using the minigun and it gives you that ammo backpack, however i would really love to be able to wear that backpack while using other weapons. so if someone could tell me the steps to replacing the model for something like a tailormaid backpack or blackwolf backpack id be extremely thankful. i already have nifskope FOMM.

This is specifically wanted because of the Fall of the Space Core mod. I love hearing the little guy talk but I don't want to carry him in my hands the whole game so could somebody make a mod that allows you to have him on your back or your belt or something so that you can just have him on you but still see him and hear him talk?

I have picked through the nexus as best i can, im looking for a mod that at minimum makes an equipable backpack out of the pack that goes with the lazer minigun. just the pack, i dont care if it modifies carry weight or not, i just want to wear some kind of tech pack there is a woeful lack of "tech" integrated gear that isnt just power armor retextures, its really difficult to make an outfit for a pure energy user "science" whiz chatacter. if some generous soul would make the one pack, or be kind enough to walk me through it i would greatly appreciate it.

Is it possible to port this? I loved it in New Vegas and would love to have it for my travels in Boston. I lack the skill to do it myself with FO4Edit. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44104/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D44104%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D437667&pUp=1

Hello everyone. Being a lover of backpacks and visible weapons mods, I wanted to combine both of them while minimizing clipping as much as I can. So I started to tweak NIF files a bit and started to make every modules craftable. It was a personal mod at first, but I'm thinking of putting it on Nexus if more people are interested. Here are some screenshots, hope you'll like it ;)

I doubt you can safely and reliably add new stuff to the game until the CK is out, but in the meantime you could modify existing meshes to achieve the same effect. Thanks to the layered armor system, anything you add to those pieces will be on top of any underlying armor, making them well suited for adding backpacks. I was thinking of something along the lines of Leather backpack or Jokerine's lovely Sackpack. http://i.imgur.com/TSEEm3R.jpg In New Vegas backpacks couldn't have straps or they would clip horribly with most armors, but if you attach a backpack to the leather chest piece in Fallout 4 it will fit perfectly!

Hi, so I'm here to ask about certain things I cant seem to find a good vid or explaination on youtube and might even not know where to search but I am trying to create a lightpoint onto an item , but I cant seem to find where to start, but I have tried to change position through Nifscope before when adjusting certain mods that where off, but there is where my skills end. Anyone who could explain how I make an item have a flashlight point to it that activates light like Pipboy flashlight. Thank you in advance /Noob modder.

I was thinking the other night of some way to increase my characters careering capacity, without breaking the believability too much. One thing I thought of, is the fact that the eyebots float, and so do the Mr. Handys. Now, neither of these items are using any type of engine, prop', or jet of any kind. This leads me to believe that they must be using either a magnetic field or a form of Anti-Gravity. If this is the case, why can't that technology be used in a backpack? This is the idea I came up with. In one of the areas that is doing military projects the player can find a set of blueprints to a prototype Military backpack that uses the anti-gravity technology. There are a few different types of pack in the blueprints. A couple of them have a set decrease in the weight of the items in the pack. For example one for a 50% decrease, a 100% decrease, and a 150% decrease. Using a 1, 2, or 3 Anti-grav units each (respectively) from either an eyebot or a Mr. Handy. Another is an adjustable field that can vary from 50% to 200%. Now to the limitations; The backpacks function as containers so they are not part of the PC's inventory. They have to place the pack on the ground to access them. (? Perhaps a perk can be added {maybe called - Master Packer: You are so proficient at packing a backpack that you always seem to pack the items you need the most last so they are always either on top or in the side pouches where you can just reach over your shoulder or behind your back to find just what you need.} This will allow them to access the pack without dropping it, and only costing X AP to do so [int based or Agl based.) They (MUST) use power-cells to power the Anti-Grav units. The power used by the packs is dependent on the weight decrees, as well as the weight in the pack. (optional rechargeable cells or using Repair Skill to improve power use). If the player runs out of power-cells then the full weight will be applied to the PC. (? perhaps to the point of immobility, where the PC will have to leave the pack where it is until they can get more power-cells)Example: the PC has an adjustable pack set at 200%. The PC can carry 350 lbs. They have 180 lbs in their inventory, so the pack can have a weight of 170 lbs. {adjusted}. (170 [ lbs. allowed weight] + 200% [pack setting] = 510 [actual weight of pack]). With the Anti-grav units set to the max of (200%) they will chew power like crazy so the player will need quite a few cells. If the PC runs out of cells the full weight of 510 lbs will be added making the amount they are carrying a total of 690 lbs. (180 lbs inventory) + (510 in the pack). In my opinion this amount should incapacitate the PC, so they will have to either empty the pack of 340 lbs or leave the pack and pick it up when the have the power-cells. Are there any Modders out their who think they can make this MOD? I think that it will go like hotcakes if it hits the Nexus. Because carry weight is the bane of the PC and this answers that problem with, what I feel, is a very good solution. That shouldn't brake the believability too much. if you like the idea and feel it can be made, throw me a bone and mention me in the description. LOL

Hey everyone. So I was looking around my inventory, and looking at the carry weight, and thinking to myself: "There should be a backpack mod." Well I found a few, then it hit me. Kit should take up space outside the backpack too. When you carry a great big shield it shouldn't fit in your backpack that is smaller than the shield. So I had an idea: Keeping the carry weight just to affect your stamina (like in the Requiem Mod) each piece of kit should have a 3D map that takes up space in your back pack; if it fits, otherwise it should be carried on the outside, and only if you have the right things to attach it to you. A length of rope could be used to carry a shield slung on top of the backpack. A realistic and logical placement system could be used to carry your kit. so there is no longer a carry everything you can get your hands on by just cheating your AV carryweight stat. For those into realism I think this would be an awesome mod to build. If anyone can do it please let me know so I can download it when you have done. Cheers in advance to anyone.

i chose this back pack because it's my favorite, but i also think it can be improved like this: 1. Pick axe 2. Skinning knife 3. Map scroll with some picks banded to the backpack with a leather strip or in a pocket now the main reason for this idea is that, if it is possible, make the backpack perform actions of mining and chopping wood so that you won't have to worry about carrying those 2 in your inventory any more, and ofc still fortify carry weight XD. If that is possible it would be awesome if this backpack could be made (possibly to have a function fo an ancient nordic pickaxe)

I've always been a bit put off when using all of the awesome backpack mods out there, not the least of which are Blackwolf Backpackes and Niveas various packs in her Spice of Life mod. It always feels odd when I pull my weapon off my back, and I pull it straight through my backpack as I ready it. My idea is twofold: Firstly, where you holster all 'large weapons' (i.e. everything other than one-handed weapons that go on your leg) would change from being on an angle across your back to being more or less straight up and down and to the side a bit - as if you had strapped, or slung, your weapon next to a backpack, for instance. Here are some examples of what I mean: Best example, another example, bottom middle picture in this. The second part would be changing the animations for putting away your weapon to match with this so when holstering your weapon or unholstering, it looks smooth.

1. I used XCOM ToolBoks to enable the developer shell, now whenever I try to start a new game I get a whole bunch of unexplained options. Does anyone know what they do? 2. I tried to mod the game to get 2 item slots, but it's not working. Here's what I did: Opened XComGame.exe with Resource Hacker. Went to the DefaultCoreGame text, then copied it into a text file. Opened up the text file, and changed all armors from iSmallItems=1 to iSmallItems=2. Went back to Resource Hacker, and overwrote the original text with the modded version. Pressed Compile Script, then Save. Loaded game. When that didn't work, I tried replacing the text of XComGame\Config\DefaultCoreGame.ini with my modded version, but that didn't work either. I'm using the following mods: XCOM ToolBoks options - Enable Developer Shell, Disable Disappearing Corpses, Disable Panicked Friendly Fire, Abductions in Nations with Satellite Coverage. XCOM ToolBoks Custom Mods - XCOM Third Small Item Mod I also hex edited XComGame.exe to unlock the developer console.

pintocat had an excellent Fallout 3 mod called Dogmeat Leather Armor that also contained a luggage pack. I'd be very grateful if somebody created something similar for the cyberdog Rex. Ideally I'd like something a little less bulky. The armor isn't needed, what with him being half metal already. http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/120/images/4474-1-1240242631.jpg http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120928235020/fallout/images/thumb/5/5c/Rex_cyberdog.jpg/640px-Rex_cyberdog.jpg

hay people, i have been trying to make a webseries for a while, i wrote a story and a script. now i`m trying to use skyrim and the creation kit to make the scenes and get the footage. i have little experience with the creation kit but i`m slowly learning, i know how to make npcs, place items, and move stuff. thats about it. now for my problem, i`m trying to make a scene where my lead character walks away from his parents. i got him to wear normal vanilla cloths, but i also want him to wear a backpack, so i downloaded the sabre gear backpack mod and placed it in his own default item set. here comes the problem, when i go ingame, it doesn't render on his body. also if i place on on the ground and equip it my self it doeskin work. but when i craft one with the mats and equip that one it does work.... now when placing it in the creation kit it does seem to miss textures. (see screenshot). so anyone has any idea what i`m doing wrong? i have been struggling with this for days now, and i get the feeling that i`m just missing some stupid little detail. any help is welcome, other tips aswel. many greetings, Rune
