  1. Using Citadel of Snow - The Windhelm Bridge Reforged and Windhelm City Bridge, and this portion of ground is raised.   2. Hi there people, I'm absolutely new to the Skyrim Modding scene as a creator, I have my years as a user. I started playing Skyrim again and noticed the awful lowering animation of the retractable bridge at Helgen, which can be found in other Nordic dungeons as well. I located the file, it's name is norretractablebridge01, located under: ...meshes\dungeons\nordic\clutter\retractablebridge I have been looking for tutorials, I don't like to ask without searching first, but I don't know how to continue. I have a BSA extractor, got the .hkx files already, I got the Creation Kit and 3DsMax, NifSkope, the hcxcmd tool and the Havok Preview tool as well. I don't expect you to give me a tutorial here, but how can I open the lower.hkx animation file in 3DsMax? I know I can convert hkx to .kf files, then load a .nif skeleton and then the kf animation but the skeleton file for the bridge is hkx too? At least that's what I found. There's something I'm doing wrong, of course. TL;DR: - I want to edit the lower.hkx animation of norretractablebridge01 in 3DsMax. - I have BSA extractor, Creation Kit, 3DsMax, NifSkope, hcxcmd and Havok Preview Tool - I don't know how to load the bridge in 3DsMax to edit the animation, and how to get it back into the game. - Tutorials you can point me to? Thank you.
  3. How cool would it be to have The Bedford Flag as a mod or added to an existing flag mod? It was supposedly carried by the Bedford Minutemen to the Battle of Concord at the Old North Bridge on April 19, 1775. Latin on the flag says "Vince Aut Morire", meaning "Conquer or Die"! http://www.bedfordlibrary.net/about/bedford-flag/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedford_Flag Tie it into the Bedford Station location in some way? Maybe have a tattered version of it flying somewhere nearby? Having it be the objective of a Preston quest mod makes sense, too. He would know it was preserved by sealing it away in a climate-controlled vault before the Great War!
  4. Hello all, So I'm having a great time checking out mods for my Sanctuary Settlement but I've noticed there really isn't much about fixing up the bridge. I see a few re-texures to 2k/4k.. but the bridge is still half broken and about to fall in the river. :) Would love it if someone were to make some options for a rebuilt/fixed bridge. Thanks! JP
  5. Hi i am making a bridge mod to High Hrotgar, and i was wondering what you guys think of it. Does it look good or should i scrap it? The problem is that when i started to build it i forgot to align with the mountain so i had to split it in two.   6. I just want a way to close that darn drawbridge. It stuck open after the Battle for Whiterun, and I didn't notice until many, many hours after completing the civil war. I also know I'm not the only one with this problem. But then I thought, it might be cool just to be able to go out and play with it, opening and closing it, denying travelers their path at one's own discretion. Muahahaha. :D Can anyone help me out? I can't imagine it would be so difficult, but then, I don't know much about this stuff. :sad:

Hi, would be so so grateful if someone could help me, so I am making a cell in the Creation Kit, and I have saved it all and that, and I load in the game with the coc thehighheavens and i teleport there, now one of the bridge fragments has moved backwards colliding with some other objects, it's really frustrating me because i dont know how to fix this! also there are 2 pieces which have totally vanished.. this is really annoying!!   8. Can somebody make a quest and a scene that winterhold bridge is collapse.... And the quest is to get an alteration spell dan can lift the ruins or make a conjuration bridge.... I think it'll be cool Or.... A replacement for magical looks like for winterhold.... I mean.... It so looks.... Boring after these years

Building that bridge has been fun and exciting! It's connecting the coast with the mod Northview Manor. (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12523/?) But it is not navmeshed, my followers and others npc's won't go that way. Maybe someone like to install that mod of Northview Manor, like it and also would like to build a navmeshed bridge to that Manor? Must not be the same like I did. Thanks for your attention :)
  10. I'm currently having problems with a CTD on the Windhelm bridge and the surrounding area. I first noticed it on an old playthrough in which I would CTD when I tried to leave Solstheim and return to Skyrim. I had been wanting to start a new character anyway, so I attributed it to the mods that I had installed and later uninstalled while playing on that save file and simply made a new save. On this new save I ran into no problems upon initially starting the game so I assumed the bug was taken care of, but upon again attempting to travel to the Windhelm after several hours of gameplay, I ran into the same bug. I try to play the game with no fast travel, so this bug not only affects my ability to leave Solstheim, but to easily reach Windhelm in general without reactivating fast traveling in Frostfall. After briefly looking at my debug logs (while admittedly having no idea how to read them), it seemed that a script associated with the Crimson Tide blood mod was associated, so I looked for a fix on the mod page. One user reported reverting to version 1.5 from 2.2 and fixing a similar problem, and upon trying this fix, it indeed helped, but I hated the look of the 1.5 blood, so I opted to switch to Enhanced Blood Textures. The CTD appeared again, I assumed due to remaining scripts from Crimson Tide, so I just opted to do a clean reinstall of skyrim and reinstall many of the mods that I have had no issues with in the past. I started a new save and assumed the problems were gone. On this new save, just to be safe, I have traveled to Windhelm after every quest that I complete just to make sure the bug didn't reoccur. Thus far, the only quests I have completed have been Companions quests up until the quest from Kodlak and I have killed the Worshippers of Boethiah to start that quest, and the bug has once again resurfaced. I have tried removing many different mods individually that I had thought would be associated with the cells around Windhelm and none have fixed the issue. As best I can tell, the CTD only occurs when fast traveling, riding a carriage, or riding a boat to directly outside of that area because I was able to walk up to the area after fast traveling to the shrine of Boethiah. I also can't very well start a new file and travel to Windhelm to see if the bug reoccurs and add mods back individually as it clearly doesn't even occur on a new file when the mods are already installed. My PC specs: My Boss Log: Non-esp mods: All mods have been cleaned through TES5EDIT and other than this specific problem, I don't typically get many random CTD unless I have played for several hours straight, and even then they seem fairly uncommon. All my current debug logs are a minute or so long, as I have recently been trying to get the game to work by disabling individual mods. If this isn't enough information to help diagnose the issue, I can post some new debug logs later. If anyone can spot and problems with load order or have any insight into possible mod incompatibilities that I have have missed, that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance for the help. EDIT: Only ini edits I have made have been the ones associated with RealVision ENB to make the ENB function properly.

  12. Hey, I don't know if it's a mod doing this but when I get to the bridge of Zeta there's nothing but blackness out the window. No stars, no earth. Every other time I've seen space, it's been fine. Also when I use VATS, the earth and stars come back, as in they phase in a second or two after activating Vats, but is gone as soon as I leave VATS. More worryingly the Galaxy Ain't Big Enough Quest gets to secure the bridge, and all the enemies (the initial bridge crew) are dead, and NOTHING happens. The other abductees don't come to the bridge, the alien head doesn't pop up and the other ship doesn't come in. Any ideas of why this is happening or a workaround?
  13. Hello fellow lady and gentleman modder people. I've recently gone from scratch with my Skyrim (LE) install on my new beefy-boy rig , and I've fitted plenty of textures and enb stuff on it and blah blah blah... There have been a few bugs so far, graphically-speaking, that have arisen, and one of the more annoying ones (and one that I'm rather too puzzled to solve myself) is this damn chain link that runs along the sides of a bridge that was added by "Skyrim Bridges". The bridge in question is at the cross-roads beside Honningbrew Meadery on the outskirts of Whiterun, and perhaps this glitch might persist in other bridges that were added by this mod as well, though I haven't cared to check (I don't even know where they all are to be honest! haha). Anywho, I am wondering how I might fix this problem of mine, I'm sure it must be a simple enough fix, but graphical bugs always stump me somewhat and this time I'm not sure how to go about solving this issue. Chain has a black bar that covers the area of its links. Looks really baaaaaad. - My guy standing next to it. - This is the chain on the draw bridge at the Whiterun exterior entrance. It's in 2d, and in healthy shape, just the way I like it :smile:

I'm about to make a mod-installing-montage for Fallout 4, and I want to use the following mods for Sanctuary: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17489 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23051 or https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12963 However, seeing as how both of these mods alter the surface in Sanctuary in some way, I want to make sure if using them both won't cause some problems. I remember in the past using them, and that unabled me to do anything to the first few houses close to the bridge in workshop mode. So, will anything similar happen? Has it been fixed? Should I specificaly arrange them in the load order? And yeah, by the way, I'm switching from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer.

I'm a busy guy, I do construction during the day, mechanic stuff on the weekends, I usually mess with this stuff in the evening, I do modded playthrough videos on YT and tried a couple mods before, I can do simple stuff but I'm no whiz. Most of the time I use FO4Edit, Creation Kit loads really slow on my rig, too slow to really be productive with. I tried a mod (still in the works if I can get an animation done) called Go Prone (basically an adaptation of Take Cover) that needs an idle prone animation from Pose it made into a combat animation set and I'm pretty sure its gonna work. Not sure but I think I need a better rig and 3ds max if I wanted to attempt that as well. An expensive proposition. I'd much rather employ someone if possible. Also trying to figure out how to get some form of constructible highways and overpasses in the workshop for an upcoming video I'm trying to do. Any help would be much appreciated for that. Everything I do is completely un-monetized but would be willing to consider a healthy compensation for those animations, upon verification of course.
  16. Hi guys, I was just playing Fallout 3 and I noticed that when I stood on the bridge at Rivet City and looked at the Jefferson Memorial, there was an fps drop. It seems that i get a constant 60 fps anywhere else in the wasteland. My system specs are high end (GTX 670 FTW, Intel i7 3770k, 16GB of DDR3 RAM) and I have the stutter remover and I enabled my exe to use 4GB of RAM with CFF Explorer. However, I do have the NMC Performance Texture Pack enabled, but I do not think that should cause fps issues with my hardware. I was wondering if there was a solution to this and if anybody else has this issue aswell. (I forgot to mention that I play the game maxed out)
