  1. After installing what I guess could've been a bit too many mods simultaneously, my copy of Fallout 3 GOTY (bought on Steam) is completely broken. (crashes on launch). I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already so that is not a solution. I've gone through the folders to uninstall all traces of the mods I installed originally but the game still crashes on launch with no explanation as to why. Some help would be appreciated, I don't even care about the mods anymore I just want to play the game. Thanks in advance.
  2. On my most recent game, I have encountered several major issues with Windhelm. First and foremost, none of its citizens have any of their unique dialogue, and none of its scenes play. The opening scene with the Nords bullying the Dark Elf does not start, and talking to people only causes them to say the basic "Need something?", "Hmmm?", or "What can I do for you?" lines, and none of the ones that set them apart (i.e. "The townsfolk call me Captain, because I used to be a sailor.") Because of this, I'm inclined to believe that the "DialogueWindhelm" quest, which holds all of their unique lines, had not started properly. However, attempting to start it with console commands does nothing, and I am trying solutions in the CK to get it to start and function, but to no avail so far. But wait, it gets weirder. None of Windhelm's merchants (blacksmith, general store, innkeeper, etc.) will give me the option to barter. This one isn't an issue of a quest not starting properly, as all merchant bartering is handled by the "DialogueGeneric" quest, which works perfectly fine in all the other cities. The cherry on top is that the White Phial apothecary is closed and locked 24/7, for no apparent reason. Why would this only occur in one city? Is it an error with factions? I have not begun the Civil War. I have the Unofficial Patches, but they are only a few of over 100 mods I'm running. I'm still going through my load order to try and determine a culprit, and will probably take the opportunity to do some spring cleaning in my data folder. If anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated.
  3. Could be very hard to make but simple in concept. Vanquished enemies by power attack or falling have a ragdoll with wrongly bending skeleton, new nodes on shins, arms, and back. Another idea is a set of death animations that last a long time, so it looks like they are mortally injured, since not everyone on Civil War battlefield will die instantly. Morbid suggestions off my mind now.
  4. I have been experiencing an issue with friends - typically involving Multiplayer. As a duo, it seemed to work 10+ hours into a game. Once 2 friends joined the game broke after a main menu load back into game. It breaks all save files from the start of the game. Basically, we aren't able to long rest, go back to camp, or interact with anything in the game anymore - such as NPCs and cutscenes. Attacking friendly NPCs in the grove results in them running, healing, and not knowing what happened. Any cutscenes don't work anymore - running to the Gith camp by the bridge doesn't trigger a cutscene or anything of that nature. Clicking camp in map for fast travel and or clicking buttom right and camp/long rest doesn't do anything. The issue has gotten 2 of the 4 members of my group to just straight out unistall the game as we have got about 50 hours trying to just play with mods. Originally, we tried using the Mod Launcher that is purple and got the same issue. So we all reinstalled our games - delete all traces of mods - and decided to use vortex. With Vortex, it worked longer, but ultimately ended in the same issue. It is truly game breaking and sad to waste so much time with all of this. All mods were done using Export Tool latest version, which was dragged and dropped into vortex - and then everything else was done through Mod Manager downloads using the recommended load orders - which all members of the group downloaded the SAME exact mods and versions via a pack I made for all of them and exported load order to all of them. Things we have tried: Uninstalled half of the mods. Tried different mod launchers. Tried different things to trigger this mod as it seems completely random. Tried disabling certain mods we had a hunch that would mess with UI and the environment. Things we suspect it to be: Multiplayer with 4 people. We are using the latest scriptextender by norobytes via going to his Github and dragging zip file. It is ExportTool-v1.19.5.zip - we were usion ExportTool-v1.18.7.zip but the newest one worked. We were also trying to use FeatsPerLevel but it doesn't work with the extra classes/races/subclasses we added for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I have to reinstall everything again - including the game - I wouldn't be against in - I just want the game to work and be able to play with my friends for these mods. If anything seems out of order - please let me know and where to play them Thanks again.
  5. I've been working on a pack of stone age weapons and I'm trying to get a basic throwing knife working. No real issues with the basics, but the grenade arc absolutely refuses to work. I get this result, seemingly no matter what. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/1151/79299-1710026957.png I've tried remaking the projectile entry from scratch, rather than copying and editing an existing one. Also tried copying everything, including collision, from the throwing knives in Grenade Expansion Pack 2, which work fine. Tried with no collision on the projectile mesh, and a few other tweaks with keywords and whatnot. Absolutely nothing seems to get the arc working properly. Would really appreciate any input here. Mod is nearly done, just need to iron out these little glitches.
  6. Hey people, I've had quite a few fallout 4 playthroughs and I loved it, so want to try something else from this series. My problem is that fallout 76 is a piece of s#*! (never played, though, so if I am wrong, tell me pls). So I thought I would try something older, but I am afraid, that old game stuff like grindy gameplay, bugs, and overall minuses caused by absence of sufficient technology years back would f*#@ up the game for me. So question is: are there mods that would unf*#@ my experience? Thanks. P.S. I am talking primarily about New Vegas, but I am open to suggestions, so if you think I should try something else from this series, I will be glad to hear from you!
  7. It's 2023! What's the best way to update mods on The Witcher 3, without breaking your scripts and the game? I recently updated like 10 mods and literally bricked everything and had to reinstall fresh (probably because I'm a filthy casual). How can we avoid this going forward. Context: I do use Vortex (i know its trash), but generally, I follow the instructions on each mod to ensure a clean install. The problem I ran into is after updating each mod, the scripts got all messed up and when using Script Merger, I caught multiple exceptions and the game would no longer start up. The initial error was that there was an unexpected '}' character in a certain script. Thanks for any elpers!
  8. Hey, so the data section just displays a blank screen with sometimes a faint outline of the last page that was on. Is there any way to fix it, use some other interface or bypass in any kind of way? That would be a lifesaver, thanks so much Cheers
  9. Title says it all. If I have ENB enabled, no Night Vision mods at all will work. I tried the ELE fix, nothing. If I toggle the ENB option to disable all effects night vision will then work, but then I have no ENB. Anyone?
  10. Hello, This is my first post here and i wish it would have been a happier one... That beeing said, i have been playing for over a month and about 250 hours. I only play with mods and have the most populair mods installed and they work great. My problem now is that when my park grows I tend to see dinosaurs caught in an animation, that animation keeps them in one place where they can eat or drink or even move and be checked...if I do nothing they will die. Sometimes it helps to tranq them and replace them to a different part of the biome . Last night i was watching a live stream on youtube from Evolution Square, and there i heared something that said that i went over a limit of decorations...Does anybody know this is true, or does anybody have a better idea of whats going on? The mods i use are ACSE, expanded parks, freebuild, expanded paths and fences and expanded parks... Hoping to get this resolved soon Thanks in advance

I've been having this trouble for ages now and I have no idea why this keeps happening, I'm using a clothing mod called RR skyrim seifuku which is formal school uniforms and is the main clothing mod I use. it was on nexus but was removed though it is on google drive, it had a good selection of variety with its school stuff but it didn't have a black necktie, so I changed the texture of one of the ties to complete black and saved it using GIMP, it works but after a while it just stops and I mean it changed from type amulet to no type amulet and makes me and my followers unequip the necktie.   13. Vehicle Headlights after the 1.5 update no longer have the option to be switched between Normal, High-Beam(or Auxilliary) or OFF. Now it's just ON/OFF. It would be so cool if there's a way to retun that removed functionality, as I've seen quite a bit of posts both on Nexus and Reddit addressing that issue, breaking immersion for some, me included. Thank you in advance if someone is willing to do it!

So SKSE is likely already updated, or will be soon (I didn't bother to check), but since this update doesen't really mess-up the game as much as AE did, how many mods except maybe SKSE and Adress Library are likely to not work, or what kind of mods aren't likely to work until the author updates them? I know it improves papyrus and raises esl limits, so everything papyrus-related is also going to not work? I'd just like an estimate on how long to wait until I reinstall Skyrim, because I was building my modlist and forgot to turn-off auto-updates and I've just uninstalled, because I've decided I didn't like the mods I have installed that much anyway and wanted to start-off clean again. So, should I - wait at most a couple of weeks for everything relevant to be updated or - just use 1.640?
  15. I just installed the mod spawn0 - BODY MOD 2.0 - in game better body shape but know female V does NOT show up at all. When I go over to the character creator, the male option is there, but the female option is gone. I can click on it, but nothing is there, not even a button to press. I can press enter and it goes to the next part, but that's it.
  16. Hello, I have a problem since yesterday with V's Model. I use following mods: Solo Ultimate, veiny arms and body cyberware face meshes ( 8ugbear ). Skin, 4K upscaled complexion from Vanilla The problem I have is the FP view which is meant ot be a realistic point of view of the whole body from the chest to the feet and from the right shoulder to the left shoulder. The FP view works but the body in FP view is not the one I am using: the chest textures are different, the feet are different (even " broken", the legs have a huge cut sometimes when V is barefeet) and the clothes are extremely extended! Thing with the clothes is that they take the form of the ACTUAL MODDED BODY I can't see in FP mod. I can only see my modded body in the inventory and in photomode. When I run, the clothes are horribly extended, it's like a thin V in XXXXL clothes. Here is my archive/ mod list atttached. Thanks for the help. When I discovered that the Elder Scrolls Online had completely butchered the lore of the Elder Scrolls universe (it released earlier than the PS4 version), my optimism for the game dropped a fairly large amount (I don't care what your arguments are, or how you want to explain the multiple lore inconsistencies that exist in ESO, there is no denying that ESO breaks the lore of the Elder Scrolls universe worse in many major ways). After this my view of Zenimax was that they had completely broken the series for Bethesda Game Studios (how wrong I was). I began researching, and as it turns out Zenimax's actions were not new to the Elder Scrolls Series. Bethesda has been creating major lore inconsistencies within the Elder Scrolls right from the beginning and Zenimax just took it a step further. The Elder Scrolls lore is a complete and utter cluster f**k and many people agree with me on this front. These people include average fans just like me (as seen in the links above) and one prominent figure, Zaric Zhakaron (His youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5n2P_1F8nQhOo0fLGdh-iw), who has been called a "Lore Master" by some, despite the fact that he rejects the title. Some of the lore inconsistencies that really annoy me include; the lack of the Nordic Pantheon in Skyrim, the climate of Skyrim, the lack of jungle in Cyrodiil in both ESO and Oblivion. Many people have tried to explain why the lore in the Elder Scrolls is so contradictory and broken with things such as the c0da, dragon breaks (Daggerfall) and the "unreliable narrator". These explanations are simply not good enough. "The Elder Scrolls isn't like other games, it's lore is fluent" blah blah blah. All of these explanations have been created to cover up bad writing and clumsy design choices by the producers. Most of the time these explanations make the situation worse than they were in the beginning e.g. the lore is fluent and all subjective (what's the point of playing the games then! Someone could deny that the last dragonborn even existed and argue that the chosen f*****g chicken killed Alduin and Miraak, with the glorious CLUCK and not the Thu'um). This could genuinely be the case in Elder Scrolls 6 (hopefully not). Let's face it the producers have broken the lore of the games hundreds of times, probably deliberately on some occasions (e.g. Skyrim being completely snowy would make the game miserable, or so they thought, the whole of Solstheim was covered in ash and the Dragonborn DLC turned out pretty good!). Fixing the Elder Scrolls Series You may have thought that this was going to be just a rant about Elder Scrolls lore, but no I believe these problems can surely be solved. An option is an Elder Scrolls "Reboot" (discussed in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikN-oAbGkBI&t=1164s). Now I do not know what this Elder Scrolls "Reboot" would entail but it would basically remake the series to be more consistent with the lore. In reality the fans of the series have been trying to fix the inconsistencies for years now with mods that basically just put band aids on huge wounds in the series. We don't need to hide behind explanations that try to cover up bad design choices and terrible writing, we can confront the issue head on. We would only fix the lore that exists in the series. If I'm honest I do not know how we would go about fixing the lore, but that is were we all can unite and find a solution to the problem. Stop putting band aids on massive wounds, let's fix these problems once and for all. No more explanations of lore contradictions that are objective just because a producer made them, no more subjective/fluent lore. I cannot deal with seeing one game contradict another game in the series (or itself) and let some ridiculous explanation fill in the gaps. Let's fix this once and for all!
  18. Does anyone know of, or can make a mod that prevents generators from breaking down. I cant find any synth infiltrators in my settlement that would be causing this problem.

I've sealed every rift, completed all the Astrariums, gained a dozen agents, and upgraded my potions, tonics, and grenades across two playthroughs and I still haven't gotten the related achievements. I'm currently working on JoH, to get the Firestarter achievement I missed the first time, and will go on to try for the last three in Trespasser. I'm worried that those won't pop, either. Is there some way to fix this? A save file, maybe? An editor? I know it's cheating, but I sure as hell won't play through a third time until DA4 releases, and even then they'll STILL be broken.

  21. I've played through three different characters, and I've upgraded potions more than 30 times, and closed ALL the damn rifts in the game, and those achievements still just won't pop! Is there any fix for this at all?
  22. I have been having this issue lately where if I switch to third person and pull out my gun my character breaks until I switch back to first person. Even when I use vats my character does the same thing. This does not happen when I have a melee weapon, only when I'm wielding a firearm. The only animation mod I have is the girly animations. But it may also be related to the Weapons on back mod. See the image (I had to severely reduce the quality for nexus to allow the upload) Thanks ahead!
  23. So i modded my game. Pretty normal, but my skyrim wouldn't work after, so i disabled all plugins except the vanilla. So even with only skyrim and the dlcs active i cannot get it to open. i wanted to start from scratch so i deleted all of my previous saves and can only choose new. The main menu screen doesnt even shift to a loading screen. It just takes away the options and im left there with absolutely nothing. I checked the local files through steam and no problem there so im at a loss. So if anyone has had a similar problem and knows what to do or any suggestions that'd be awesome. I'd really appreciate the help.
  24. So, I need a bit of help, I broke my game. I don't know what I'm doing. So far my screen never stops leading, it has gone on for about an hour until I got tired tired of it and end up having to restart my comp. It also becomes unresponsive and crashes a lot. The main problem with Tinas Cookiepocolypse is that comment section and the bugs section is turned off and development seems to have ceased, the developer can't be contacted here either so it's just a bad ending to an otherwise interesting mod. I have done what i can now, so i'm showing myself out of this topic...
