  1. Hiya. I've been trying to get invisible activators to work through hitting E on a trigger box, but it's not working. I followed this guide and never got it to work. I'm mostly doing this because the GECK doesn't show certain meshes in the browser when trying to give an activator one, but also because it would be much easier to do this when models are being switched around (rather than 2 activators). Is there a way to do this that I've missed? Did I just not read it right? My googling returned almost nothing, other than a mod that gives you custom meshes for this purpose, but I want to avoid using that, since I feel like it should be possible in base game. If you want to see what I've done for yourself, you can open my Goodsprings Shack - Redux mod in the GECK and the activators and other things are still there, specifically for the lantern on the shelf, and the nuka lamp in the basement. Most every new script or asset is prefixed with "GSShack". Appreciate any and all help!
  2. I am trying to make a garage door with a button on the inside and on the outside. The button will open and close the door. If I open the door from the outside I want to be able to close it from the inside. This is probably a stupid question but I am new to the Creation Kit so.

So, there was already a topic about it, and nobody helped the poor dude, so I will make another or. :smile: So my issue is, I'm using Unnecessary Violence 3, my Action button was bound to Enter/Return, it was working, and the another day it stopped working completely, I did absolutely nothing but walked around dealing with it... And then it started to work for some stuff, but the MAIN thing itself it decided to stop working... I can no longer Change Grip/Switch Grip, Dual Wild and not even make Two Handed become One Handed or One Handed become Two Handed... Using vanilla weapons, I have Marts Monster Mod and some Map mods, I have HUD Status that this mod recommends with the proper ini files... I have all the requirements and have read the Manual and the PDF document, I changed the Action button bind to Keyboard, Mouse, Keypad.... It doesn't allow me to change the weapon status. I also am unable to Taunt people. (I already learned the skill) Some of the Action button things work, the main ones for my character stopped working out of nowhere, no new mods since the start of this game and load order untouched... UV Attack and UV Throw work flawlesly. Could REALLY use some help on this issue...   5. Personally, I'm too used to pressing the 'Z' key to pick up objects, and I too frequently end up stealing things in mistake instead of picking up objects or items. Is there a way to remap this key to something else? or is it hardcoded into the game by default? Please help :confused: Thanks :happy:
  6. I'm just trying to make a simple button which will restock (enable) some ammo on a shelf, and ammo itself are activators. All is working good except that i have the button linked to the first ammo, so the script ONLY restocks one of the ammos.. I've tried using the linked ref and linked all the ammo togheter. But only the first one get's enabled.. Any tips? Thanks!
  7. Hello Nexus and fellow forums users! I am in dire need of help and would like to know if anyone can point me in the direction of a mod or config that disables the waiting feature or removes it completely as I need the extra key for a mod and since I don't use the wait feature anyways I felt it would be smart to just disable that feature and use the bind for that. Any and all help is very much appropriated! But before you try to "help" please understand that... I tried google already(hence why I'm posting on forums now)No I cannot "just not press it or just choose not to use it" as I need the feature disabled to use the button for a modI'm using a controller so sadly rebinding with the keyboard does not helpBuying a better/different controller is not an optionI will not "" again i'm using a controller >.>Constantly taking damage is not a good work around for meBinding it to another button is not an option as i'll still need a button for the mod.Again thank you guys for any and all your help!Also, if anyone is curious the mod is called "Lock-On - lock on mechanism by himika"
  8. Downloadable Content Menu completly mising in Main Menu. It doesn't show even after I deleted all mods. Do anyone know how to re-enable it, or where does the game keep dlc-outfit's settings ? I searched most settings files , even found an old file for outfits , but it is not used anymore.. I can only disable dlc from user.settings ,but some mods need it.
  9. I'm wondering if I can make a script where, if a specific button is pressed ingame, that it could change the "Ambient Color" of the cell. This would work as a sort of light switchfor the entire cell. I realize that there's scripts for toggling actual light objects, but I'm wondering if I can change the cells "Ambient Color."   10. Here is my request. I am wanting a mod that, through a button bound by an MCM, will allow me to teleport all of my currently active followers, pets and summons to my location. I am neither looking for a spell that would do this, or a massive follower overhaul that would provide this feature as an extra. If anyone could make this mod for me, or be so kind as to direct me to one that does this, I would be most appreciative.
  11. I don't know if it's even plausible, but I've heard that you can pause the game through an exploit on PS4. Was wondering if someone could try and make a mod which lets you pause the game when you're alone on quests and expeditions?
  12. Hello, I am currently creating a simple Script with a button and some lights. And i was wondering what was the command or function to use if i want to put a delay between the lights activation. I tried using wait or sleep but the script would not compile.   13. Hi. I'm suggesting a mod, that would add new buttons with related actions to user interface. Example 1 : If you aim at a potion (elixir, flask, ...) you would not only have "Take" option [key E], but you would also have an option for, let's say, "Drink" option [key other than E], without the need to go into inventory and finding it and drinking it from there. Example 2 : You find a helmet, that is better than yours. In vanilla you can "Take" it, which puts it into your inventory. What if you could, using a different keyboard, put it directly on your head and swap your old one for this new one. You know you want to. Example 3 : You are shooting with a bow at an enemy. He is running towards you, getting realy close (not ideal situation for an archer). You see a sword on a weapon rack next to you. You could immediately swap your bow for a sword and get killed with a sword in your hand. Example 4 : Picking herbs. Instead of putting into inventory and searching and then "Learning it's properties a.k.a. Eating", you could skip this hassle and "Sample it" right away! This way we could eliminate the tyrany of inventory and live happily ever after. Of course this could be done much more complex. Swapping the weapons for example : just swap weapon and put the previous into inventory, or drop it (this could be very dramatic, i kinda love it), or add some delay to do so, etc.
  14. I am looking for a way to map toggling specific HUD options to a key on the keyboard. Basically me and many others complain about post-endgame there being no way to "un-track" a quest so there isn't any of those stupid waypoints or pathways, so people started just tracking the "Collect 'Em All" quest and then turning off the "Active Quest" HUD in the options, so it's as if there's no quest being tracked. My idea is to have either one of these options being implemented: The first option would be to just create a macro to toggle that "Active Quest" HUD, so people can just track the "Collect 'Em All" quest when they're not on a quest, and just press the button when they are on a quest so they can track it properly. The second option would be to add into the game a quest that is completely blank and is never completed, so when you're not tracking a quest you can just click to track that quest and it's as if there's no quest being tracked.

  16. Hi community, a question: I've been having an issue where I cannot interact with some npc, meaning that they have no name whatsoever and can't be talked to. So far i was just ignoring this bug because it affected just some random npc, but now my companions are getting bugged too. I've heard there is an "emergency button" on the MCM that can provide a solution for this but I can't find it anywhere. Does any of you guys know about this?
  17. I would like to suggest a mod that makes a button that pulses power for a certain period of time. This sort of already exists in the game in a different way. For example: -pressure plate, you can activate it and it will pulse power for half a second. -firing target: pulse, when you shoot it pulses power. -conveyor belt laser tripwire: pulse, this pulses power when something passes it. You get the idea. You could use the model from the button at red rocket, the one for the garage door. Here are some ideas for features: -pulse time changeable through terminal. -3 versions: one for the wall, one for the ceiling, one for the floor. Just like the power conduits. Thank you for reading, hope you like the idea, ~a settlement enthusiast P.S. I have made a button system in vanilla, but it takes a lot of wiring, so this mod would just make things easier. If you want a tutorial for that system i can try to post it somehow somewhere.

Be it melee, magic or bow I'm getting absolutely no response pressing the attack button while moving.....My Sheild/Block works just fine and standing still I can attack without any problems......It's just anything in my right hand that doesn't respond while moving in any direction.... I know it's not a problem with my computer button because it works perfectly well for everything else.... Any thoughts on this would be helpful and if you've experienced similiar issues please share.....Ultimately I'd like to find a solution to this problem
  19. Hey everyone, I was wondering if there's a way to map the sprint action to a button other than L3. I'm using a cheap gamepad that heavily resembles a PS2 controller with x360ce and the dinput blocker because I hate the whole "Button 5," "Button 7" thing. I ask because pressing the L3 button repeatedly breaks the left stick after a while and makes it unbearably jerky, which effectively renders the controller unusable (mind you, this has nothing to do with the quality of the controller -- I find that the quality only really affects how long it takes for it to break, since the same thing eventually happened when I tried both the wireless 360 and Dualshock 4 controllers). I can't afford to buy a new controller every 2 weeks or so no matter how cheap, and I'm not a keyboard & mouse guy. lol Please tell me there is a way...
  20. It takes too long to scrap all the orange items in a settlement and often its easy to miss one. I would love to see a mod that implements a button where you can scrap all the orange items that have no use (ignoring any special cases like safes etc.). It would also be nice if there was a store all green items button. I have noticed some green items do not store (fences, patio tables, etc.) and I am not sure if that is a bug but if not I guess they can be ignored as well. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks for reading.
  21. Think about when you just emptied a magazine and a feral ghoul is closing in. You press the melee button and instead of using the gun stock, you draw out your trusty combat knife and stick it in the ghoul's eye. I wonder if it's possible to creat such mod? It basically allows you to use a melee weapon without having to switch weapon. Thanks.
  22. Is it possible to make a dual wield mod that alternates strikes from left and right hand with the left button? And then code the right button to do dual attacks. Preferably SKSE. Already found a Dualcast mod and its works fine but the dualwield version isn't what i'm looking for because it replaces the left button to dual attack all the time and magic and melee feels totally diff.   23. For some reason dark souls for PC needs a joystick and when i try to use my, the buttons B and X are inverted!the game says, B - back and I need to press X! anyone knows how to fix this? is there a mod to re-invert the buttons? Please help -I'm from Brazil, dont judge my english-
  24. Hello. So I have a Logitech MX500 Gaming Mouse. It has 2 buttons on the side. Most games detect them as aditional mouse buttons. But Oblivion doesn't detect them at all. Is there any way to make Oblivion to detect them? Thanks.
