  1. I don't know if somebody has created this topic for discussion, but if not, I will take a crack at it. One of my biggest gripes about the photo mode in the game is that when I try to get V to look at something, I very frequently can't. The position of the eyes is frequently deflected all the way over in one direction or another. This doesn't persist in all situations by any means, BUT, very often, I have my V in position in photo mode and the eyes are looking all the way to one side or another. The slider either does nothing at all, or by sliding all the way to one side or another can affect the eye position to the extreme left or right only, with no nuance to the positioning. This may be a product of any number of things, but the specifics of why or why not that does or doesn't work shouldn't matter to the end user. As the end user, I want to be able to reposition the eye in any direction regardless of what the original devs thought was acceptable. If I want my V to look backward into their own brain, then they should darn well look backward into their own brain. If I want my V to look through their bottom jaw at their feet, they should do that too. And certainly if I want my V to look at Detective Han in a stern manner while questioning them as to why they are on video doing something sketchy, that should be totally possible as well. At this moment I cannot do that. Can anyone help me find this freedom that I seek? This seemed intuitive, but apparently it isn't. I'm sure somebody is going to say something about the logic of how NPC's look at characters and objects within the world, but I just want total control of V's eyes in the photo mode.   2. A mod I've always wanted, since playing Red Dead Redemption 2, is a system replicating that game's camera transitions from 1st to 3rd person and vice versa. The camera will very briefly dip to black, to hide the transition - I've always thought this was a great way to switch the camera. It's naturalistic, almost like the character is blinking. We all know Skyrim already has a dip to black function, like exiting load screens, and mods like Wet and Cold have mechanics where the camera blurs if looking up into active rainfall. How hard would it be to create a mod that plays a brief half-second dip-to-black when switching camera? I've always found Skyrim's camera transitions very blunt, un-elegant and oblique. This is beyond my rudimentary knowledge, but it's something I would love to see. See GIF for reference.
  3. Even if mouse smoothing is set to 0 in-game settings, we encounter a weird smoothing while looking around and walking. I found that the mouse smoothing disappears when: aiming, riding a horse, shooting, looking behind (holding C button). The movement of the mouse is sharp and precise without smoothing and delay while doing these actions. I would love to have a mod that disables that smoothing when walking/running and moving the camera, it just weird and annoying. Tried messing with some values from cameras.ymt but nothing seems to work or i can't get it to work. I will attach a very unhashed cameras.ymt file, maybe someone can make it work (please note that this cameras.ymt crashes the game, just use it as reference since it has almost all values unhashed) cameras.rar
  4. Does anyone know if there is a mod so that when you shoot an arrow or fire a staff spell the camera automatically switches from 3rd person view to 1st person view?
  5. I would love a mod that changes the camera during exploration from over the shoulder to centered, as it is during combat. Jedi Fallen Order had the camera always centered, and I would have loved for the devs to have included that option. I believe this would be a simple mod as the centered view already exists in game, it just only activates for combat. I would simply like the game to treat out of combat as the same as combat as far as camera angle is concerned (mounted as well). I am not a programmer so I could be totally wrong on that being simple.
  6. Can someone make a Detective camera? I want it to be able to take pics that i can see on steam like a screenshot. I want the screen to look like the and when the pictures are made, they have a frame over them that looks like , And if you can't make a camera, can someone make a Detective suit and a smoking pipe (or a metal pipe weapon like from a sewer drain)? The suit would have a big trench coat that has the "Porcelain color" to it and a vest that has the color code "63,43,41" / HEX: "3F2B29" with a long-sleeved shirt that is "77,56,62" / HEX "4D383E", And also pants that are colored "47,32,30" / HEX: "2F201E" with shoes that are "25,14,10" / HEX: "190E0A" with laces that are the same color as the pants and the bottom of the shoes are "143,95,64" / HEX: "8F5F40"

BUT Bannerlord NEEDS new features for that like - Emotions or interaction system for characters (speech,talk,gesture) using F9 to activate and then use F1 to F8 to start playing anim sequences to be captured - Camera angles for the player: like pressing Alt+1 changes to close up Alt+2 changes to Mid camera .. Alt+3 changes to side camera all attached to player

  9. I suck at describing things lol But something I've noticed is that when moving around in 3rd person, the camera feels like the speed of forward movement is a bit unsteady. It also seems like the dips in speed are in sync with the running animation (slows down when foot touches ground). It's definitely not a stutter from cell loading (which I don't experience anyway) or reaction with the ground. Frame rate is constant at 60fps. It seems to be exacerbated by rotating the camera while moving. Also, why is that when switching from 1st to 3rd person while moving sometimes causes my character to literally stop before resuming movement? Any ways to smooth out this behavior? XD

  11. HI, i wasn't successful finding a mod which does precisely what i want. Anyone know how to trick the game to disable 3rd person camera? I would like to force the player into a FPS. Is there a simple gamesetting command e.g. to disable zoom available?

  14. Can someone make a mod like the Joy of perspective that is compatible with any and every apparel body and weapon mod? There was a first person camera mod in the Legendary Edition that was compatible with every mod I downloaded and was extremely easy on scripts that made me able to see my character's modded body, armor, weapons, cloths and physics without the need for any compatibility patches.
  15. Looking to see if there is a mod that stops characters from fading out when approached in Character view's camera mode. If not this is a request to see if a mod can be created Willing to pay if the mod is simple enough to create I was unable to find out if anything like this was already requested or fulfilled.   16. Everyone has nice DoF in their pictures but all i could find was dynavision which has static DoF without distance slider and dynamic DoF but that doest work well. Is there any mod i could use to adjust DoF to make photos (having nice dynamic DoF while playing would be good but proper DoF for taking pictures is more important for me) or do they all use ENB for that?
  17. MODDERS! Please! Can someone unlock the camera when flying on a broom so we can look in the direction we want to fly. Only being able to look left and right seriously limits mobility! If we can look around freely while flying it would truly enhance the experience and allow us to pull off some amazing moves when zooming around on our brooms! If anyone is up for the challenge please can someone look into making this happen! There's a huge thread on reddit of people asking for the same thing! It would really improve the experience! Thanks guys! (Quick tip - remap the UP and DOWN keys when on a broom to the left and right mouse button, and map CTRL for boost. MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE)

Pretty much same as title. apparently there's some similar mods out but they're grouped with combat mods & at the moment im still on the first playthrough & besides QoL that are incredibly blatant missing, i want to beat it stock. it's just the camera that honestly has made me stop caring fighting dragons and staring at their feet. fire giant was the last straw as well. happy to commission

I’m mainly referring to how you can spin camera around while walking for example (or even shooting and so on), in vanilla Fallout 4 that’s not possible, you can only spin camera while you standing still with a weapon or without it. I mean you can do that by being unarmed and spinning around the character while you pressing specific ‘WASD’ buttons alternately, but I was newer satisfied with that approach. Personally it really bothered me since forever in this game because back then it gave me so many opportunities to view my character.
  21. Would it be possible to make a mod camera mod that just shifts the camera a bit to the right, so your own character doesn't occlude the center of the screen (main point of interest) like many other modern games do since RE4?

By now, most Skyrim optimizers have seen this video demonstrating what Dawnstar might look like using the Unreal Engine: Unreal Dawnstar It is serene and magical, until you get to this point in the video: Player First Person At that point, the player and their mouse/controller take over and you start getting the jerkiness that ruin most videos of Skyrim play, and I'll argue the experience in general (although I give our brains credit for overlooking this most of the time). I would like the modding geniuses here to consider, when NOT in combat, to limit the amount of change in angular acceleration the 1st person camera can have. I'd ask you to experiment with 2 to 20 degrees per second per second, or even make this parameter editable in the MCM. (also needs seagulls)
  24. Would someone please make this mod so I can play without exhausting my eyes, and getting motion sickness? I'm terribly devastated that I can't play my favorite game because of such a simple, stupid reason. The problem is that in combat, the camera zooms out 20 feet into the air every single time I make any ranged action. Most of the time it lands behind a rock or the ceiling or whatever. It only happens in combat. The other part of the problem is that when I press F1 for example, the camera immediately jumps to my party member. Ideally, it should only jump to them when I press it twice. Someone please please make this mod, I need a hero here, so I didn't buy this otherwise excellent game for nothing.
  25. So quick up-to-speed, I do use mods but until recently I played on a monitor using keyboard and mouse and didn't have this issue. Recently however, I started hooking my PC up to my television to game with a controller (Thank you Starfield and Xcom for giving me the motivation to do this). Now, the game works fine; i had to go through a nightmare to get the controller to actually work on Fallout 4 while running F4SE, but it works now. However, i'm having a problem with the camera that is hard to describe. it gets kind of... I guess choppy is the word, when I look in specific directions (specifically, when i look down at the ground, up at the sky, and occasionally at walls). This happens anywhere I go, and the oddest part is that while it feels in these instances like my FPS is tanking, the FPS counter I have in the corner doesn't show a single lost frame while this is happening. Television is in game mode and I do not have this issue with any other games (including the aformentioned Starfield). I can provide a list of mods i'm using tomorrow if need be although its rather long. I have my doubts its the amount of mods though as I said, when I was playing using mouse and keyboard before I didn't notice any issue like this at all. If anyone else has any insight or experience with an issue like this I'd love to hear it, it took me ages to get a controller working at all and now this issue is happening and it messes with my head too much to ignore.
