  1. I just had an idea for identifying settlers who are synths. It will require some game mechanic understanding. Is there a way to assign an eye texture to an entire faction? If so, for any NPC with a synth variable tag (bIsSynth=true called from ShowVars, even hidden synth settlers are already tagged), assign that NPC/faction a specific texture of eyes; you can walk up close to all settlers and check for the "Bladerunner replicant eyes". I feel that this is both practical and immersive.
  2. Is there a way to get the spotlight detectors to detect the player in game? I've added some but they don't move or anything they just face forward. Any help is appreciated, as always :)
  3. Hi everyone, If you read my other post you'll know I am creating a new lands mod. I have finished most of the world building and have come across a problem with NPCs and their detection radius. The problem is, it is insanely high. For example, I have one interior for a mine that I'll be honest I copied from Skyrim, and then changed a bit of clutter and changed the layout slightly. However, in my version of the mine, basically as soon as you go in and walk for like 10 seconds to start combat with the first NPC every other NPC in the mine detects you and starts searching for you. The final room is the only one that works normally, where the NPCs dont start detecting you until a realistic point. This is obviously very weird and a bit game breaking. Now, I have optimised the interior by placing room markers and portals, and that helped a tiny bit but did not fix the problem. Is there anything else I need to do? In one of my other interiors, there are necromancers and draugr. This may be untrue, but when testing I seemed to notice that the necromancers detect you really quickly and easily like in the mine, but the draugr do not. Which is strange, because the NPCs in the mine are draugr. Like I said though, this might not be like I said, I didn't really test it fully. This is not just a problem in interiors, but also occurs in my exterior bandit camps as well. Basically almost the second they load in the distance, they detect you and start searching for you. I have not generated LOD yet. I am porting in as a level 1 with iron armor, because I am using coc straight from the menu, so obviously I will naturally make a lot of noise, but this just seems excessive.   4. Hey. So I had a cool idea and was wondering if it can actually be done: Is it possible to make a detect harvestable plants/flora spell? If so, how exactly? My current model is: A clone of the detect life concentration spell - I removed all pre-existing conditions inside magicEffect and placed the GetIsObjectType(Flora) == 1 on subject. Tried it in-game, and it didn't illuminate anything. I couldn't find any information on whether the detect life archetype can illuminate non-actor targets. I don't want to search by keyword, because that would involve placing said keyword on every flora object, and is kind of a dirty edit. Any ideas? Below is a s/s of my current magic effect. The spell entry itself is just a generic spell entry.
  5. Hi, I have a modded Oblivion ini. Recently I installed a driver for my extra soundcard (ASUS Xonar D1). After this the Oblivion Launcher wants to auto-detect my hardware and reset my ini. But I don't want my ini getting overwrite. I also uninstalled the soundcard driver and using onboard now like before. Nevertheless the launcher wants to reset. Is there an option to skip the launcher or the auto-detect script? Or can you say me the ini lines, where I have to adapt the options for soundcard or something like that? THX

Hello everybody, I've recently started playing the Morrowloot 4E edition mod and some of the items are hidden way too well for me, so much that if I didn't know that 2 of them were there (yes, i looked in the esp...) i would have never find them, and I look everywhere every time. So here I am to request a mod that adds a spell that works like detect life but instead detects items, placing an aura on them that can be seen through walls. Hope it can be done easily.   9. I recently encountered a very strange issue with my Skyrim installation. Skyrim crashes with an unusual windows "Skyrim has stopped working" pop-up. Usually, when Skyrim CTDs, it does so on the menu screen because of missing masterfiles, DLC, or incompatibilities. Not this, time. Skyrim loads like normal for the first few seconds, when launched. SKSE launches, command line appears for a second or two, ~5 second pause, black screen with windows loading mouse circle thing. The previous is normal when I launch Skyrim. However, after a second or two of the black loading screen, "Skyrim has stopped working". First, a clarification. SKSE, Skyrim, and all of my mods worked flawlessly the night before, and I have not installed, uninstalled, or modified any mods. The same happens when I launch from the official launcher. Black screen, then CTD with error message. This leads me to believe it is not the fault of SKSE, but rather with, Steam or one of my mods. This is obviously the most pressing issue at the moment, but its not the last. Skyrim is also not detected by BOSS or the SKSE installer. Other forms of BOSS such as sorting from Mod Organizer returns "no game detected." Validating the game cache always returns "1 file failed to validate and will be reaquired". The file in question is about 675 bytes or sometimes 0 bytes (probably trying to validate a file that was actually there), according to the Steam downloads tab. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
  10. Hello. I've run into a problem where all enemies detect me very easily. Even with a sneak skill of 90+, they can detect me 50 meters away behind a mountain. I don't have many gameplay-changing mods in my mod list and even if I disable the mods that affect stealth, the problem remains. In the modlist below I've disabled all the Project Nevada plugins and the CombatEnhancer plugin. Does anybody have an idea of how I can solve this? Hello ! so... about a month ago, i started having troubles on my laptop, so after trying all the solutions i could think of, i decided to restore windows ( deleting everything in the process), now the laptop works just fine, and all my other games seem to work fine, but oblivion for some reason isn't, before i could play flawlessly with graphics maxed out at 60 fps ( i even used an enb), almost no drops (except in some heavy areas or modded areas ), now when i start the launcher it says that my recomended graphics are medium ( it used to say ultra high), and when i start in medium the game runs at 30 fps with drops, it also says i'm using a Geforce 9600gt ( that's total bs!, i'm using a gtx960m ) why did this happen? is there a solution? ... thanks in advance ( i'm spanish, sorry if my english makes little sense) Update (if anyone cares) : i decided to uninstall the game and reinstall it.... now it detects my videocard but it still puts the default graphics at medium and now it doesn't even open, it just starts and by the part the bethesda and zenimax logos come out a window appears " oblivion.exe has stopped working"
  12. Hey, I've created this mine as part of a New Lands Mod that I am currently working on. I have made a few other dungeons and none seem to have this issue. Now in my mine there is a gate, almost splitting it in half. Before this gate are some ghost miners, and after it there are some draugr and necromancers at the very end of the mine. Now for some reason, as soon as I enter the mine every single ghost miner detects me, charges towards me and attacks me, despite being a good distance away and round lots of corners. After I pass the gate, every single draugr and necromancer suddenly also detects me and starts to attack me, even the enemies at the very end of the mine. My mine is actually quite big, around the size of those already found in Skyrim, and I have no idea how all of the enemies are able to detect me right from the start when they are at the end. The enemies are all either vanilla NPC's (the draugr) or literally duplicated from vanilla NPC's (the miners and necromancers) so I really dont know how they have such a huge detection ability and can detect me right from the start. As you can tell this is really annoying me! I know its not a certain mod I have installed as no other dungeon does this, and neither do the other ones I have created. My mine is fully and properly optimized with different rooms and portals between them. Before I added this, the draugr and necromancers were able to detect me even before I opened the gate, so at least there has been a tiny bit of improvement. It is also properly and fully navmeshed. Im asking if anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it. I also dont know if this is just a problem with my PC or game, or if it would happen to others if my mod was shared. Hola a todos, no se por que pero, luego de que descargara el pack para poder meterle mods al hogwarts legacy, reinicie el vortex y ahora no me detecta el darkest dungeons, desintale,instale varias veces el darkest dungeon y nadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no lo detecta el exe, es como si fuera invisible para el vortex, si alguien mas le ocurrio esto y sabe como solucionarlo me gustaria que me lo diga, gusto queria jugar al dungeons y justo pasa esto.
