I was just wondering if there was a mod that let's me lead expendable units into fights for role play purposes. The closest thing I found was faction warfare https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32997 which is a great mod but I was wondering if there was an alternative that I may have missed.

I finally finished my humongous modlist (followed Bevilex' modlist and then went my own way after) and now I've run into problems where all female imperial guards are missing at least one armor mesh. The female imperial watch is missing their boot meshes and the female palace guards are missing their cuirass. The male imperial city guards aren't affected and other cities' guards aren't affected. I think this is caused by a mod conflict (or something of the sort) with OOO/FCOM, as using FormID Finder essentially told me that these guards come from OOO. This also caused Captain Renault to have her cuirass disappear, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. The weird part is that the cuirass is nonexistent. I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be an "upperbody" section on the female palace guards for example, but there isn't. I've been using performance mods such as ENBoost, and I've tweaked the Oblivion exe itself with things such as the 4GB patch, CPU Affinity, I/O Affinity, etc. I've also been sorting with BOSS (putting in user settings when necessary). But nothing's worked. Unfortunately, I cannot upload screenshots because they're too big, lol. At least 405KB each. The modlist is posted below: Please help. I don't want the countless hours I spent building this modlist to go to waste.

I was wondering if I can do this, just manually or bain installing FCOM and not installing War Cry OR just using MMM, OOO and Fran's with some compatibility patch and no FCOM. I don't find War Cry necessary, but I DO like the difficulty of OOO and the variety of Fran's coupled with the creatures from MMM. Also, I could use some link to a guide on how to install FCOM with Bain, as the archive is not bain-ready :/ And I'm a nobo in using Wrye Bash. Atm I have Fran's and MMM installed. Please give me a hand with this ^^

0So I followed nUbees guide to the letter. (Or so I thought.) Started with a completely clean steam Oblivion GOTY Deluxe (All official dlc pretty sure.) Started with UOP, USIP, and Unofficial DLC Patches on that order. Then OBSE. For obse I pasted obse_1_2_416, obse_editor_1_2, obse_steam_loader and the data folder to my Oblivion file. c\games\steamapps\common\oblivion. Then proceeded with a basic FCOM installation as described in this guide. (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8BTIQGFFmHPWmNCbVdSUXFDRXc/edit) Here is my load order. Any advice? Active Mod Files:

Help - Crashing upon leaving Imperial Isle

Hey, I just started a new file on Oblivion. I have another save file (using OBSGM) that's older and works just fine with this load order. However, on the new file, I crash every time I attempt to leave the Imperial Isle, always in the same place. I can go into the city no problem, but crossing bridges or swimming to continue with the game just leads to a CTD with no error. I already cleaned all the dirty mods and DLCs with TES4Edit. I tried disabling Better Cities, Alive Waters, Mart's Monster Mod, All Natural, Unique Landscapes, and Roads of Cyrodiil to no affect. Currently I'm using FCOM mod to enhance my game play experience, big thanks to MadGodSheogorath for his amazing work as I always love group fights. I also developed a supportive syringe mod to buff and support my combatants in the field (like Anna from Overwatch, giving them healing and boosting syringes). Thing is, I cannot target my FCOM boys in VATS mode, it seems to be disabled, which makes it very difficult for me to shoot them with my syringe gun during combat, it also makes me impossible to check their exact armor rating through VATS. Unlike Projectiles which can be simply flagged as VATS Targetable, my attempt to figure out enabling VATS Targeting to NPCs was a failure, am I missing something? Any help will be appreciated. Sorry for my bad English as it is not my major tongue.

Hey all, After a long disputed and unforseeable argument with a friend over who was in the right, Stormcloaks or Imperials, I decided to read up on timelines/hisory of TES and it really got me wanting to try Oblivion again. The thing that bothered me most about IV is how enemies lvl'd with the PC so I searched for a mod that was like the equivalent of Requiem for Skyrim or mods that made Oblivion like Morrowind. I found FCOM and followed the install to a T: failed. Now on my 4th try re-installing and trying for just OOO but it seems all compatibility is tied to FCOM now? This last build made me CTD on startup of the game. I used OBSE, BOSS, Wyre Bash, Steam GOTY:Deluxe and added OOO(1.35a), TRN, Better Cities(Full), AN-LightsOnly, Enhanced Economy, EDI(1.3), Kvatch Rebuilt, CM Partners I was running it fine with just OOO, Better Cities, AN-Full but I saw Enhanced Daedric Invasion and had to have that. I also just learned Wyre Bash, so it may be my greenness with that. My question is: Does any of this not work well together? Even with the bashed patch? Any guides for OOO compatability(not FCOM, unless they're implying they work together)? I've scoured the internet for answer and have usually been successful, but I've given up on Skyrim till it's matured more and I'll be damned if I give up on Oblivion now. Of course there is always Morrowind which requires 0 mods imo =D Thanks for any help.

I estimate it should take me about 500 hours to play through them all and i don't mean to uninstall or install any mods once i get going. This is my first time playing oblivion and i would really appreciate it if you guys could point out any conflict between any of these mods so that i could have an uninterrupted playthrough with my ultra beautiful female character :smile: xD Thanks a lot in advance :smile:

Decided to re-install Oblivion with a FCOM install. I'm sure these forums have seen their fair share of threads regarding this, but I can not for the life of me figure out what I did wrong. Here's my load order: Active Mod Files: I'd really appreciate any help with this. I've been battling it all night and, as I said, I really can't find the issue. I get an instant CTD when I start up Oblivion.

Alright, manged to set up FCOM after reinstalling Oblivion and I'm now getting a strange CTD. In the second level of Vilverin (Vilverin Canosel) It always crashes to desktop when I'm entering room 6 (on the image) the problem is, I've been to the room before and it was fine; went back to town to sell the loot and came back, now there are a couple of mobs inside (a skeleton and a Staada) that weren't there before, the rest of the dungeon is clear. Specifically, it crashes when I'm coming into the room from the north via the flooded tunnel (crashes as soon as I dive under the water) and it crashes when I get close to the secret door marked 5 on the image (doesn't matter if the door is closed or not, still crashes). I've tried using tcl to clip into the room, as soon as I touched the floor after deactivating it, it crashed. What I want to know is the reason and possible fixes for this. I've decided to ignore Vilverin for now. hopefully it won't happen elsewhere, Load order is after the screenshot. Hi, I realise this is a lot to ask, but after 3 days research and tries with limited success I turn to the all knowing internets and the awesome users on it. First, my situation: Hardware: decent gaming rig AMD PII X4 970, HD6970 GPU, 8GB RAM Software: Win7 Pro x64 OS Setup: on C: (SSD), UAC disabled, administrator rights Oblivion: on D: (another SSD) GOTY UK (none-steam), with SI, DLCs and unofficial patches History/Experience: I am a certified IT specialist, 31 yrs old, 40hrs+ job, 2 kids, 1 wife Before I forget to mention it. I am no modder and have no experience with the actual modding tools. I did play vanilla oblivion when it was released, a few years later played it again with OOO, collected some experience in installing mods (obmm) january 2010 I tried to play with FCOM and went mods-berserk. got to know wrye pretty well, still worked with obmm and found out about BOSS. Then I overdid it with the mods and ended up with a game that still worked but was too slow. suffice it to say that during the following weeks I tried a lot but lost interest in playing again. when a new windows install came, the then playable if not perfect install went away. then I had time (at least some) to look for awesome mods, read a lot of readmes and instructions and try out... fast forward to june 2013. After a recent other game I completed, I really really wanted to play oblivion again. I think I learned my lesson the last time and instead of trying to get the old mods to work again, I went to look for others/newer ones, better ones. However, I find I am missing time that I once had. Newer versions of the tools have been released and I am struggeling with recalling stuff that I once knew. I have no doubt I will be able to accomplish this. And I am perfectly willing to actually doing my part. All I am asking is for a little help on a few detailed questions as well as a general recommendation/experience feeling in the current oblivion mod "scene" My hope is with our combined knowledge the time I will need to sift through hunredts, if not thousands of mods to cherry pick a handfull is saved, as well as being able to circumvent the biggest problems currently "well known" to the very invested player. So, any recommendation that you think might fit what I am looking for is welcome. Especilly feel free to report any problems you may have encountered with certain aspects of my plans/wishes, mod incompatabilities that I am steering to, and if you managed to fix it, maybe even how... I plan to post a list of mods that I selected for my wishes in the next few days to make the recommending and commenting easier. Also, and this is a promise, will I stick with "my oblivion install" this time. meaning, even if it takes many weeks, we will find a solution to my wishes here and I will gladly close this post with a post containing detailed install order, load order, wrye bash merge/bash patch comments, other settings etc so others can benefit from our work as well. so, what do I "want"? (compromises not impossible) - FCOM (this is none optional and kinda the point here) with COBL/OMOBS I find a lot of information, most of it seems outdated. Even a new webpage/official forum/etc link would help. In the end I will be able to get fcom to run without help, but it will take considerable time... However, my main problem with FCOM is, aparrently there is a bug in wrye bash / cbash (#299) that makes it incompatible with FCOM Q: what wrye bash (pybash!) should I take to get FCOM to work? Ive tried 303 standalone and python. both seem to be using cbash. - grafics: - new "high res" textures: (highish prio) QTP3 (redimized) Bomrats for SI both planned, no problems anticipated. Q: Both are pretty old. Did I miss "new, awesome, replaced them," packages? - tiling/normal maps/border maps etc still have the old ones lying around, can use them, maybe look for newer releases. would not mind recommendations though - extended LOD (high prio) RAEVWD so I can find stuff running around. do not expect anything better out there? - enhanced water / trees / flora / animals whatever I can get to run on my PC without dropping the fps too much and makes the game prettier, Ill take it. suggestions welcome. I want an immersive, breathing, living world... - better player textures if something is compatible with the fcom/other textures and will make the people look better, Ill take it. if it happens to be nude textures, even better. who doesnt like to rob someone of his last shirt :wink: - possibly better magic effects, retexturing of weapons... maybe even some fancy shaders involved here. very optional - immersion: big point, unfortunately very complicated... - weather: I want a better weather system. natural environment comes to mind, but it always seemed problematic. recommendations are very welcome - darker nights & darker dungeons: yes, pls. - torches: since its darker, I want people to run around with torches. and the torches to be droppable I dont expect many problems here - harvesting: 100% chance and the visual confirmation something has been harvested. I had a mod (harvest flora and 100 percent) doing this but read about problems with FCOM here. suggestions? - insides: weather sounds inside, maybe even better windows. looking at immersiveinteriors for this one - kvatch fires/burning/rebuilt something along those lines. have the fire be visible from afar, have it go out after doint the questline, maybe even rebuilt (very optional) suggestions? - more travelers, adventurers, people in the cities to make the world seem fuller, more alive... - odd other stuff like better letters, more neat stuff that is not important enough to look it up now. but if you know just THE awesome immersion mod that I forgot/dont know about, feel free to mention it gameplay: - take all button binding (absolutely NOT optional!) - toggleable quantety prompt (not optional) - keychain (would like) - better UI (darnified?) - more hotkeys (suggestions?) - start by ship - faster running - stealh overhaul: highly interested, but optional. can make sneaking harder but more rewarding. good ones? - fight overhaul: interested, but optional. may make fighting harder. good ones? - magic overhault: very interested, slighly optional. may make magic more usefull, should give more/better spells. suggestions? - improvements: - improved cities, possible open - better/more realistic economy optimization: - 4GB RAM Patch (already applied) - meshes/polys etc that replace the others with better performing ones without being visuelly noticeable? - oblivion stutter remover? - streamline? - oblivion crash preventer? highly optional: - the unique landscapes package(s): I think I really would like to play with them, but they are also very low priority. better get the rest working first before dealing with those what I do NOT need/want: - more/additional/custom quest lines - more player houses - more/custom races

Modders and Residents on the forums, please help me, and future Fcom users to install this amazing mod package! As you all know, Fcom is old now, over three years, and in that that, a lot of the links that have been used on the Fcom website have become broken, and the files they lead to, lost. A lot of modders for some unknown reason decided to upload their mods to sites like rapid share, that are in pretty bad form at the moment, and the files are impossible to find again. I need help finding working downloads for Wacry EV and it's latest patch. A heap of mods I need in the nexus say "file not found" when I try to download them, though from what I've read that comes and goes. Is that right? Any help or advice in getting this mod to work is appreciated thankyou!!

I've used OOO for quite some time, and I really like how the prices of silverware and upperclass clothers were reliatively expensive. I decided to install FCOM, and everything works without crashes and glitches, however, OOO's prices are no longer in effect. Silverware are worth very little, 5 septims or so per item, yet OOO's gold clutter are worth 30-40 septims each, like they should be. I tried making my own mod and set the prices to my liking and put it in the bottom of my load order. However, ~20% of the items are still worth only 5 septims or so, among those I edited myself. I have no idea why that happened, and I'd like to return to OOO's prices. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I've installed oblivion with all of it's DLC's along side with the fcom superpack, and when I exit the sewers after the tutorial, no messages come up telling me about the quests like they do in the vanilla game. All of the esps and esms are active. If anyone knows anything about the fcom superpack, could they tell me if it changes the way that the dlc quests like Knights of the nine, frostcrag spire, and the shivering isles are started? Thanks

Hey guys! I know the title may sound wierd, as most players complain of FCOM being too hard, but for me its just unbalanced in general. I'm using a basic FCOM installation with a few texture packs and unique landscapes/better cities, with NO damage or durability mods or anything else that effects weapon stats or combat except deadly reflex. I am also using Dynamic levelled lists and oblivion XP. However, even though FCOM is supposed to remove levelling and make the game harder, I can encounter giants and trolls at level 5 that I easily kill in just a few hits! Oblivion XP says that these monsters are suppsedly "level 3" or "level 5", which makes little sense as a huge mountatin troll ought to go down with a bit more than just 5 sword hits with a steel longsword. By contrast, when I entered the mythic dawn cave at lake arrius for the main quest, everyone there was super hard to kill, despite being humans! I can understand this being the case with the magically armored mythic dawn, but even cloth robed apprentices take like 20+ hits to finally go down. Oblivion XP claims that these characters are level 12, which would explain the difficulty, but it seems very dumb how "high level" unarmored, dagger-wielding apprentices are somehow waayyy more powerful than giants that stand twice as tall as my character. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? Can post load order if needed.

Hey there! I've got a couple of questions regarding MO2 and the popular FCOM compilation. I prefer to use that over Maskar's, because of MMM and Francesco's, so I want to be using that. But there's a problem - I've had to install Francesco's through Wrye Bash, since I couldn't find-out what parts of that mod to manually install, making me miss-out on MO2's feature of switching back-and-forth between mod setups. I did so with FCOM and MMM as well, just to see if it will work if I install OOO through MO2 and it did. But how do I find what parts of Francesco's are used for FCOM and what esps and data should I install? Another question - MO2 uses LOOT, which is terrible for Oblivion. If I use BOSS on the side, will it fix LOOT's messing with my load order? As I understand it - MO2's priority means; the higher a mod is in priority, the more dominant it is in the loadorder and it will overwrite the ones before it, or should, right? I also started using the FCOM and HGEC EVE patch, but, for some reason, EVE FCOM is overwriting my HGEC install. I want to use the "More revealing armor" and "EVE for BBB" and only have the FCOM compatibility on FCOM items, but it overrides even vanilla armor. What should I do to fix it? My preffered mods are higher in priority. I'm also using OCOv2 seamless with all the patches for BBB, HGEC and Robert's and everything except FCOM, MMM and Fran's is isntalled with MO2, mostly manually, BAIN where applicable. I have OBMM to deal with ArchiveInvalidation and BSA timestamps and extractions and Wrye for bashed patch, should I find the need to use it. By the way, would you recommend using OBGE Reloaded with some ini customizations and compatible ENB, or should I try a combination of different water and graphics mods instead? OCO, Seamless, OBGE and FCOM make for a pretty hard install and i'm using MO2 on top of it. Don't want to mess this up - so far, I've only had trouble with green orc ears, which I've fixed with a patch from Nexus. My load order is mostly crap, but I can tell what issues come from load order, so i'll fix that up later on. OBGE is a biatch, though. It makes my game pretty unstable, as it adds a lot of clutter, sucha as pointless extra animations and such and is not just a graphics mod. Also planning on installing Better Cities and COBL, but that should go smoothly. I also have compatibility patches ready and Ayleid Steps for more fun. Any more mods you can recommend? :D Thanks in advance.

I am not a mod maker. I just like downloading and installing mods. Here is an ambitious one that might actually be do-able: So you have the Militarized Minute Men. You have the FCOM. You've organized your Army into squads with enough firepower to perhaps take on the brotherhood of steel. What else is there? *Preston Garvey steps in* "Another settlement..." NO! not again! shame on you!. But i'm not talking about that. I am talking about radiant quests: Settlements under attack, Kidnappings, clearing out threats, Raiders etc. They can get annoying. I have better things to do, I am the general, Shouldn't I be able to delegate my troops to handle it? I have things to do, But I want to keep my settlers safe. And I have an army to do so. Immersion! So this would be an add-on to FCOM to handle radiant quests only. This is how I would imagine it (lets stick with the minute men as an example): 1. You get the usual Radio broad message from the Castle saying a settlement is under attack. 2. You would get a popup giving you several options -Send in Squad (X) to help -Send in Squad (X) to help, I will join them shortly -I will handle this myself. 3. Roger, (X) Squad is on the way. 4. The Squad will reach the Settlement and engage in battle or the Squad meets up with you and you defend the settlement as normal. The Former can be done 1 of two ways: A. An % chance (increased or decreased based on who you send) that the settlement will SUCCEED in fending off this attack (you not being there to watch) B. You end up going to the settlement and watch the battle unfold from a distance. 5. The battle is either won or lost BUT: whether or not the settlement is damaged and you have sent in troops; the morale of the settlement DOES NOT GO DOWN because of it. Bonus: Lets say there is a radiant mission outside of the settlement (I.E. Kidnappings, nearby raiders, feral ghouls) and you don't have time to deal with that Then See step 2. This is the more ambitious part of the equation. If I happen to travel to the mission location for a kidnapping rescue: I want to see a Squad of minutemen already there engaging in hostiles in the area and freeing the prisoner. (Again if you are not there see Step 4A and Step 5) So essentially this mod is for Players who want the freedom to do the main quests/side quests/Exploration without having to deal with fail-able radiant quests but still want to be allied/lead with a specific faction. (Mostly Minute Men as the other factions have less time limits) Possible Options would include whether you want XP or Caps from said quest and Random loot in a Spoils of war chest if quest is successful.

Hey, first post. (sorry if I'm on the wrong thread here). I just did a fresh install of Oblivion, and I just finished installing Fcom, but when ever I enter or leave and area, it crashes. For example I left anvil, and just when the loading bar finished I got a CTD. I have Windows 8.1 64-bit with a non-steam Oblivion GOTY version. See link below for my load order. (sorted with loot) http://imgur.com/a/Dk6PU P.S - I also have Fast Exit 2, and Oblivion Stutter Remover Installed.

I have made a lot of Wrye Bash BAiN Wizard scripts. A lot of them, I've uploaded a few that I had permission for, the rest are for personal use, or in case I ever get permission. :yes: The issue is, NMM seems to be taking off a bit, and is indeed simpler than Wrye Bash. If I want to keep with the times, do I need to give up on BAIN wizards and learn whatever language NMM uses? I do so love Wrye Bash, but if I'm the only one using it, I'll feel like the the only guy on a horse on the freeway. Help a conflicted modder?
