First time modder. Looking for advice on Mods to run that are not on the 1st 10 pages of top downloaded. I need help from someone with an eye for this. When modding this game. You re about to experience frustration that would lead you to nowhere....You will spend hours only to fix problems, which I don't know why people still love this game. Game without mods won't finish and that is the beauty of the game, but out of hundreds of hours playing with this game...I'm giving up because i have life...Why should I make 10 year old game playable in 2020 that each day something is going to conflict with my game. Last week my game ran smooth and today I decided to have another play(there was no update by the way)And now boom...CTD every every 5 minutes...You know it doesn't worth it....If you want to play the game...Just get some weather and lighting mod and maybe iaft and you are off....This game is awful but great at the same time......Anyway skyrim was the worst thing ever happened to my life and I'm glad I'm leaving this nightmare, so if you are wishing to play a game like a normal person dont ever mod this game or buy this game...Game like witcher wild hunt doesnt need modding...go with those Sorry for my English

First time modder here. I made a spell in the creation kit; 'Conjure Hjalrir' - which is a 1.5x times larger Familiar which sticks arounds for a whole day. So far so good, at least from a roleplay perspective. But I don't seem to be able to change his stats. When summoned he has a puny attack stat which hardly damages enemies and I can't seem to change. I'm trying to strike a balance with him being just a few degrees stronger than I am, so I used 2x pc level mult. However, his attacks stats are still petty. I suspect he might be getting overwritten by mod scripts, maybe? After that, I thought it would be neat to add a Conjure Familiar spell to Hjalrir himsef, so that he can summon a smaller familiar when combat commences. I added a spell to the character sheet, and changed casting to 'Voice' - but if I'm honest, I have no idea how to go about this. Can anyone point me to any resources or guides to this problem? Thanks!
