I know there is already a variation of this request but in mod image format (https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/1248). Would it be possible to create a mod of this type but in text format to show the values to the player? Similar to the example of the images that I put below: Mod author link: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksoulsremastered/mods/6This mod already exists in the 'Remastered' version of Dark Souls 1. It would only be necessary to put it in the PTDE too. If anyone knows what editing tools are used to specifically edit the game's text I believe I could make it and distribute it to the community. If you know and can share the name of the tool with me it would be of great help. Even my knowledge being newbie in this area of mods. Thank you for your attention  --------------------- @edit ~ April, 27, 2023 The request may be closed if any forum moderators see this topic. [delete / close the topic]I researched further and made some changes on my own and the results were satisfactory. Exactly as I had described before.I believe that when I finish the project of all FromSoftware games I will make it available to the public. Anyway thanks for understanding :)

i know most people use gimp for editing textures in bethesdas games, but im more familiar with PS. I can edit, save and use .dds files well enough for diffuse maps in PS but pretty much anything that isnt just a flat texture I cant seem to get working correctly. I can pretty much guarantee that my problem is that I dont really know what .dds textures are. ( however i am not asking for instruction on what everything is, i just want to know how to save each image type properly, i dont care about the technical information ) the ones im having problems with at this exact moment are the character tattoo and facepaint textures. No matter what I do they dont seem to work, the tattoos have an alpha but no matter what I change they dont "update" in the game, i could make the alpha pure white and have scribbles all over the texture but they look exactly like vanilla when i import them. The facepaint texture is even weirder because it doesnt even have an alpha, its just a simple grey scale image, but when i import those they dont show up at all, seemingly overwriting the vanilla with a blank image. figured out the facepaint problem, have to save it as a DXT1 - no alpha, greyscale image and that worked. is it possible to edit these in PS? i really prefer it over gimp

I am new to modding skyrim, so bear with me! I have tried numerous times to install SkyUI through NMM but keep receiving the following error message during the installation process: Failure A problem occurred during install: Could not load file or assembly '0 bytes loaded from CSharpScript, Version=1.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Bad IL format My NMM is up to date, as is my SKSE, and i am launching the game via SKSE Launcher, so I cannot see why this will not work? any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello I know of several other forum threads discussing this issue, but none have come up with a working solution for me. What do I want to do? I want to do private retextures for some textures added by mods (since I want the texture to match my armor). Don't worry for permission breaches, since I am not intending on publishing them anywhere, it is just for my personal color OCD. How do I do it? I am running Linux, and use the latest version of Gimp with the (current version, but outdated) DDS plugin. The error Opening some textures, I get the following error: Unknown DXGI Error (98) (or 99 in some cases). What did I try to circumvent it? The following methods were suggested in other threads, or things I tried on my own, but nothing worked. * converting it to another format I tried to convert it to .png's using ImageMagick, but the conversion failed, saying that the file type is not supported. * opening in an image viewer, making a screenshot and editing the screenshot And it failed opening, either saying image not supported or Unknown error. * online solutions I tried several online file converters, but all failed due to unknown conversion errors. Was anyone using Linux able to bypass this error? If yes, I'd be glad to hear from you! Cheers

I tried to download the texture mod "Noble Skyrim" but the file isn't a proper file that can be entered and explored and such. It's just some kind of file that when opened brings up some sort of command thingy with a black background. I think this may be because of 7.zip but I don't really know :/ Please help

I've recently noticed that there is now an option when creating/editing a mod page to view the description in BBCODE or in a closer approximation to the actual page appearance. I'm not sure exactly when this change was made (I only noticed it about a week ago), but I've now tried to edit a couple of mod pages using this new feature and both times the formatting has been incorrect. The problem I'm having is that paragraph spacing isn't showing correctly on the actual mod page. It will look correct while editing, but once saved, the spacing will be gone and the paragraphs will run together. This will happen regardless of whether I try to edit the page in the BBCODE view or the new editing view. This problem doesn't occur for every paragraph break, only some of them, but there is no visible difference in the page code that would indicate why some of the paragraphs are running together and other aren't. I've never experienced any problems formatting pages before, and I'm now reluctant to touch any of my other mods for fear of irreversibly messing up their current formatting. I doubt that I'm the only one affected by this, but some of my mods have rather lengthy description pages which means I rely a lot on formatting to keep the information coherent. I really like the idea behind the new formatting options, but I hope the formatting can be made to apply more consistently. Thank you. For reference, the pages I've attempted to edit and have experienced problems with are: Trade & Barter (under 'Trading Variables', "Race" and "Stolen Goods" should be starting new paragraphs, and also "Restocking Time" under 'Merchants'.) The Choice is Yours (there should be four separate paragraphs between the 'GEMS' badge and the Credits.
