Hi all I have all the FPS enhancing tools/mods on the Nexus. JIP, NVTF, NVHR, Stewie's, etc etc etc. As I am playing the game, usually after intense combat, the game becomes really stuttery. Not stutter y as in low FPS, stuttery as in "choppy". I had learned that this phenomenon is called "Frame Pacing" and I have not EVER seen anybody else talk about such an issue. It's always about having low FPS. not about having crappily paced FPS. I used NVDIA's Control Panel to lower the graphics, the issue persisted. I enabled VSYNC, Ultra Low Latency Mode, Triple Buffering. It seemed to work, I had a constant smooth 60 ish FPS up until after combat, at which point it all came back. Re-entering the game "reverted" the FPS pacing to normal. I used to use DXVK but even then it didn't work. I don't use it anymore due to using GSHADE. I had noticed the problems a long time ago, ever since I was level 10 in my playthrough. I did not add ANY texture mods/lighting mods/any other FPS heavy mod. I had checked multiple times that my load order doesn't ave issues or if it contains any problematic mods and I had found out that it didn't. The problem can occur not just after combat, but also if I am in an interior for example. I am playing with TTW so I have all of the appropriate INI tweaks. My Specs: NVIDIA GTX 960 16 GB Ram 4 Core 4GB VRam Intel i7-3770K 3.50 GHz 60Hz Monitor Win7 x64 465 GB SSD If anybody technically savvy can help me in any way possible, it would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

Images: http://imgur.com/a/58QjV So i'm getting 40fps minimum in all areas i've been so far, but solitude docks just hammers my framerate. I'm also running Tamriel Reloaded Parallax (and realistic water two bobbing boats plugin) and i though it might have some conflict issue, but i've yet to find any posts or comments about it. also possible that it's my load order / plugins since i'm a newbie(this is a newer setup from the time i took the screenshots, but no performance change): Skyrim.esm=0Update.esm=1Dawnguard.esm=1HearthFires.esm=1Dragonborn.esm=1Falskaar.esm=1RaceCompatibility.esm=1RSkyrimChildren.esm=1BSAssets.esm=1BSHeartland.esm=1SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esm=1Nock2Tip.esm=1Campfire.esm=1Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=0HighResTexturePack01.esp=1HighResTexturePack02.esp=1HighResTexturePack03.esp=1Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1Skyrim Bigger Trees Full.esp=0SKYR Interiors - Riften.esp=1Tamriel Reloaded.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel-WinterEdition.esp=0Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp=1UsefulDogs.esp=1FAMP2.esp=1SkyUI.esp=1SkyrimConfigMenu.esp=1SkyTweak.esp=1Headtracking.esp=1Chesko_WearableLantern.esp=1RealisticHumanoidMovementSpeed.esp=1RealisticRoomRental-Basic.esp=1WM Trap Fixes.esp=1Somewhat historically accurate swords.esp=1Spears.esp=1UltimateCombat.esp=1dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1dD-Reduced Splatter Size.esp=1dD-Reduced Wound Size.esp=1Dual Wield Parrying_SKSE.esp=1TKDodge.esp=1DSerULG.esp=1SkyR - Windhelm Interiors.esp=1immersivemerchants.esp=1Prometheus_No_snow_Under_the_roof.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esp=1Rebirth Monster - SIC Patch.esp=0SkyRe_SIC Crossbowfix.esp=0TES5R - AngelinesAromatics.esp=1TES5R -The Bannered Mare.esp=1TES5R - BitsandPieces.esp=1Distant DetailHF.esp=1SkyR - Riverwood Interiors.esp=1TES5R - Dragonsreach.esp=1Skyrim Radioactive - Windhelm Docks.esp=1Skyrim Radioactive - Solitude Docks.esp=1RSChildren.esp=1RSChildren Playable.esp=1TES5R - Arcadia's Cauldron.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.esp=1TES5R - BelethorsGeneralGoods.esp=1Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp=1Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp=1Point The Way.esp=1RealisticWaterTwo.esp=1TES5R - PawnedPrawn.esp=1TES5R -The Warmaidens.esp=1TES5R - HouseGrayMane.esp=1BFT Ships and Carriages.esp=1SMIM-Merged-All.esp=1RealisticWaterTwo - Legendary.esp=1Purewaters.esp=1fallentreebridges.esp=1dD-DG-DB-Immersive Creatures EBT Patch.esp=1Mortal Enemies.esp=1DeadlyMutilation.esp=1Action Combat.esp=1InquisitorGear.esp=1NK_EyeCusomizationOverhaul.esp=1HedgeKnight.esp=1ADS.esp=1Immersive Weapons.esp=1Auto Unequip Ammo.esp=1Backshields.esp=1VioLens.esp=1UniqueBorderGates-All.esp=1BaseCarryWeightMedium.esp=1StaminaMedium.esp=1MainMenu.esp=1ChasingTheDragon.esp=1Convenient Horses.esp=1SFO - Dragonborn.esp=1Immersive Patrols II.esp=1Craftable Horse Barding.esp=1TES5R - HouseClanBattleBorn.esp=1TES5R - Carlottashouse.esp=1TES5R - Helgen Keep.esp=1TES5R - Severioshouse.esp=1TES5R - Uthgerdshouse.esp=1TES5R -TempleofKynareth.esp=1TES5R - Amrenshouse.esp=1TES5R - Olavashouse.esp=1DSerHorsesRevamped.esp=1Immersive Potions.esp=1New Weapon Parry.esp=1LessIntrusiveHUD.esp=1FISS.esp=1Natural Lighting and Atmospherics.esp=1HDTPhysicsWeaponSling.esp=1kuerteeAutoSaveAndTime.esp=1SwiftPotion.esp=1FNIS.esp=1HitStop.esp=1TKRecoil.esp=1Customizable Camera.esp=1ExtendedStay.esp=1Dr_Bandolier.esp=1ImmersiveSpells.esp=1Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB - Flame Atronach Fix.esp=1RealisticWaterTwo - Waves - Falskaar.esp=1RealisticWaterTwo - Falskaar.esp=1Watercolor_for_ENB_RWT.esp=1WetandCold.esp=1WetandCold - Ashes.esp=1TrueStorms.esp=1TrueStorms-NLA.esp=1WondersofWeather.esp=1BSHeartland - Meshes.esp=1BSHeartland - Textures.esp=1DamageMultiplier.esp=0Bells of Skyrim.esp=1TES5R -Ysoldashouse.esp=1Nock2Tip.esp=1N2T fixes.esp=1Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp=1Frostfall.esp=1Drinking Fountains of Skyrim.esp=1TES5R - Heimskrshouse.esp=1SamuraiBlades.esp=1Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul Lite.esp=1FishingInSkyrim.esp=1Unique Grasses.esp=1Hypothermia.esp=1Equippable Tomes.esp=1SamuraiBladesWeapons.esp=1UnderC.esp=1Bells of Skyrim - Reduced volume.esp=1Attack Speed Fix.esp=1DeadlySpellImpacts.esp=1DeadlySpellImpacts - Two Fire.esp=1DwemerDroidCompanion.esp=1iNeed.esp=1iNeed - Dangerous Diseases.esp=1FNISspells.esp=1RHSP_Widget.esp=1Medusa and Drakul Armors.esp=1TheEyesOfBeauty.esp=1Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp=1RaceMenu.esp=1RaceMenuPlugin.esp=1KJ Tattoos 2K.esp=1Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp=1

Not sure how hard this would be, but i think it's be cool if power frames looked something like the Nano Suit, and the power armor pieces looked something like the normal armor in the game. Is this even doable? Would anyone else like slimer, shorter(normal character hight), non-bulky power armor? -Nano Suit link http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7451/? P.S. I'm sorry if someone's brought this up before me, i've been on this forum for about 2 minutes before i made this post.

Hello all, I just reinstalled Skyrim on my system for the first time on a different rig. For whatever reason I cannot get the my framerate above 8-10.... there are no mods activated  I don't know what else to do, I've tinkered with both .ini files but maybe im missing something.... Thanks for any suggestions

I've been fighting with my power armor frame quality for a while. I've seen some other screen shots from people and their texture quality seems so much better than mine. I've tried a few texture replacers and also messed with a few of my ini settings. Not sure if I'm missing something or if anyone could offer any help. I've added the images to images under my profile and also attached them here. If you need more info that I neglected to add here, please let me know.

I am working on a test mod that will be incorporated into a larger Power Armor mod. The purpose of the test mod is for understanding how power armor functions, in particular how to properly swap materials for frames so that PA frames can be modded like armor pieces...particularly paints. So far I have PA Frame furniture correctly loading thier material swap when summoned from console. However, after the initial inimation for loading the fusion core into the armor, and the animation entering the frame, I have noticed two problems. The first problem is that after the animation, the power armor frame reverts to the original material. I have Frames created as armor, just like the frames already included with the game. They have the appropriate material swaps applied. However, I cannot figure out why they are not being loaded instead of the original material. I suspect a script is involved somewhere, but I don't understand enough about the PA systems to be able to identify how it operates. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. The second problem is that despite the material reverting to the default after entering the power armor, upon exiting the power armor, the frame returns to the correct material swap, but the material for the fusion core is lost leaving a purple color applied to the mesh. As with the other problem, I suspect a script's involvement, but cannot isolate where. Any assistence with this would also be greatly appreciated. My goal is to make Frames buildable (probably using the automatron workbench) and assembling the armor on the frame much like building an automatron. This includes paint mods for the frame as well as armor pieces. First things first, I need to resolve the two problems above so that I can move on to the rest of this. Thanks in advance to all helpers.

So I started over due to some mods. I used place at me for some Power Armor. But every time I go to use it. I get a message telling me I can't use that at this time. Is there any way around this other than being near a Power Armor Station?

Someone needs to make a mod that marks the location of every frame you've gotten, f*#@ing settlers and provisioners keep stealing my suits whenever sanctuary is under attack and there's no way of finding them unless you get lucky, and even then, they abandon the suits when the core runs out. Pretty frustrating.

I'd love to see Atom Cats providing their members cool service of etching you signature to frames. Because, it would be duty of every cool cat to mark what he/she owns. To put it simply, A-Cats should offer service to unsteal frames. Also there should be a tag on frames that make Cats hostile if it's stolen from them when using this service. so: 1) Adom Cats Power Armor Etching service to unsteal Frames, with proper dialog/(new)npc. 2) Put tag A-Cats and their friends Power armor frames so they can't be Etched to player. They'll be claws and bites and spitting!!! 3) Make it Cool using this service I know that this can't be done at satisfactory level at moment and i'm just passing this idea to you modders for times to come.

Hey guys, So I installed ENBoost (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/332/?) and everything worked fine, got a nice solid frame rate most of the time, but there are still problems that ENBoost didn't fix and I can't figure out hw to fix it myself; I just recently managed to make my color adjustment from the NVIDIA control panel persistent, even with fullscreen gaming (before it would always turn off when starting a fullscreen appllication). How I did it: So I changed Fallout 4 from borderless to fullscreen, disabled all vsync ingame/in enblocal and forced VSync via NVIDIA control panel (tripple buffer=off, prerendered frames=1). This made my game much smoother so dips down to 50 fps wouldn't cause stutter like they did in borderless (even after I installed ENBoost). But then again this left me with the known bug that in fullscreen mode you get terrible microstutters (not hardware related->persistent at 60fps) when strafing/circling. The two fixes for this, that I found were turning to borderless (want to avoid that) which gives me an overall more 'stuttery' experience or to add the line 'iFPSClamp=60' under [General] in the fallout4.ini but a lot of people report fps bugs with that (being stuck at terminal, slowdown etc.). So atm I'm not able to find a proper workaround using; -RivaTuner -> capping the frames at 60 for windowed borderless -> not so smooth feeling, -ENBoost using fpscap and or forcevsync in enblocal.ini -> same results as with RivaTuner/ingame VSync (slightly better fps than with ingame VSync), -NVIDIA VSync (tripple buffer off, prerendered frames=1), -ingame VSync (ipresentInterval), borderless windowed/fullscreeen mode All got major advantages and disadvantages. So, is somebody here able to run this game full screen without micro stutters?

So after I completed the quest I would find danse moving around with a few unmarked t-60 pieces on and none of them had any kind of damage resistance. I also noticed by using showinventory he had an atomcat power armor frame. I've tried disabling all my mods but I couldn't pinpoint which one was causing it, although I did find after disabling all of them Danse just had an empty power armor frame on. Here's my list of current mods Any help would be appreciated as I cannot use Danse at all unless I want him to be killed with one shot by a raider every time.

I wrote this guide on Steam and I figured I should share this with PC useres having a hard time running the Ultra settings for Skyrim. The following steps should help improve frame rates while maintaining high quality. If any admins feal like moving this topic somewhere mor appropriate, please provide the link to the new location.... My system specs are as follows: I am running on an Intel Core2 Quad q9650 @3GHz, I have an ASUS built nVidia GTX550Ti over-clocked stable to 930MHz for GPU, and 4.204Ghz 1GB GDDR5 RAM, and system ram is 8GB PC2-6400 RAM (400MHz DDR2). I am also running this on Windows Vista 64 Bit Home Premium...which is practically Windows 7 in most respects. My monitor is a Toshiba 42L52000US TV and it is set to game mode...it is connected to my video card via HDMI. My Audio is a RealTek onboard chipset and I am running it through the integrated RCA-type Digital Coaxial cable hooked up top my 5.1 Surround Stereo Reciever (the latter is set to use NEO.DTS6 and Dolby Prologic II). Windows Settings: If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7....the following will help improve performance tremendously. Go to the exe files located in your Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim folder and right click on the "TESV.exe" and select "Properties". In the "Compatibility" tab, check the boxes "Run as administrator", "Disable Display Scaling on High DPI settings", "Disable Desktop Composition", and "Disable Visual Themes"..Click the "Apply" button and "OK" button. For the "SkyrimLauncher.exe" file, check the boxes "Run as Administrator", and "Disable Display Scaling at High DPI settings". Click Apply and OK... Graphics settings: It is important that you do not force any driver settings from the nVidia control panel (or for AMD users, the Catalyst Control Center) for Skyrim...just use the default settings...in fact, don't even add it if it isn't there in the nVidia presets...if it is, remove it. In the Skyrim launcher options, click on "Ultra" and set the Antialiasing settings to 4 Multisamples in stead of the 8 that the Ulatra Settings has it set to...and use the screen resolution of 1600x900 for 16x9 monitors or 1600x1024 for 16x10 monitors. In the advanced settings under the "Detail" tab, Uncheck FXAA, set the radial blurr quality to "Medium". Under the "View Distance" tab, set the "Distant Object Detal" setting to "High". The High Resolution Texture DLC from Steam (it comes in three seperate mods): If you do not know how to set mods up from the launcher, it is rather easy....just click on Data and the menu is pretty self-explanitory..the check boxes of the DLC content or mods you wish to load... For the love of all that is holy....if you have an older computer like mine...do not load all three parts of the high resolution mod at once...I prefer t"HighResTexturePack2.esm" personally..but the choice is up to you which one or two you want to try...Using all three at once requires a nVidia GTX680 or better... I have gotten the best frame rates out of the DLC texture pack off of steam using Texture pack 2 alone from it...races and crittters are high resolution as well as terrain and other surfaces. Texture pack 1 is for foliage, and texture pack 3 is for water and lighting...you really do not need 1 or 3... Another factor is that textures are swaped for LOD purposes. This means that unless you have the game stored on an SSD...it is more advisable to use one DLC texture pack at a time.

Everywhere else in the game, my frame rate never drops below 70 on ultra settings But in riften, when I go through the front gate, it goes to 50 and hovers at 55-65 throughout the city And if I start a fight with the guards, it goes to 10-25 with sever stuttering! Can anyone help? i5 4670k @ 4.0 Ghz 16GB 1600Mhz RAM Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition @ stock clocks

I just recently bought dark souls. Every time I get close to a bonfire I get an error that says my framerate is insufficent for online play. I am using DSFix and I don't know what to do!

After getting my SLI running I decided to test my games out see how much more awesome they are, but New Vegas doesn't really want to work. On the Strip looking towards the gate leading to the Tops would drop my frame rate to ~35 FPS until I look behind me, Freeside drops it to 45 FPS. The annoying thing is, this happens regardless of ENB being used or not as well as my resolution. I Removed the D3D9.dll of the ENB and dropped my resolution to 720, fiddled and removed Stutter remover = same FPS. I don't understand. Any help that could even raise my FPS to a minimum of 50 would be greatly appreciated.
-
Those desktop picture frames for some odd reason go blank when you pick them up, they would be cool clutter for decor if only they retained the image when you drop them from your inventory. It would be awesome if the the vanilla ones were added in this way but other additional ones would also be cool.
-
Below I will link a video of an example of what the frame drops look like but to give more context, it seems to happen out of nowhere, I'll be in a city or out in the wilds and suddenly 60 become 1-2 then slowly climb back up. In my research I found people were only getting drops of half 30 FPS but still playable, I tried different settings in the Skyrim/Enblocal.ini files however, I am still left with a this strange drop in frames. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am aware that it is possible to retexture the visible hands on a Power Armor frame. Would it be possible to create several different frames (using vanilla textures or not) with different colored (ROYGBIV?) "hands"? I'd very much like to finally match the hands with the rest of my various multicolored sets. Thank you for your time.

Looking for someone who is more of an expert on the Darnified UI than I am, I've done a LOT of reading and customizing, especially while trying to make it fit my nvidia surround resolution of 6000 x 1080. Have got everything taken care of at this point except one thing. Whenever I change the X position of a menu, be it container, barter, spell purchase, etc., everything moves to the right as it should when I increase the X position, everything stays to scale and to frame, except one thing. The long, rectangular, golden frame around whatever the item/spell/etc. you are mousing-over seems to move exactly double the amount of units that I add to the X position. For example, I moved the container_menu.xml to a position of 805, this places it where I want with my resolution (and with the isafezone and isafezonex scaled for my resolution in the oblivion.ini), but then when I place the mouse over something in the list, it looks as if the frame that should be surrounding that line in the menu is about 1600 units from where the point of X position 0 would be. If I return the X position back to 0, it lines up fine. It's almost like there's a multiplier somewhere that doubles it for some reason. If anyone has a clue as to why the outlining frame of what you are mousing-over gets more units added to its x position when doing this I would love to know. And anybody who considers themselves pretty smart at the Darnified UI scripting wanting to try and figure it out, I would be most grateful. Hopefully someone can help me out here.
