Hi all I have all the FPS enhancing tools/mods on the Nexus. JIP, NVTF, NVHR, Stewie's, etc etc etc. As I am playing the game, usually after intense combat, the game becomes really stuttery. Not stutter y as in low FPS, stuttery as in "choppy". I had learned that this phenomenon is called "Frame Pacing" and I have not EVER seen anybody else talk about such an issue. It's always about having low FPS. not about having crappily paced FPS. I used NVDIA's Control Panel to lower the graphics, the issue persisted. I enabled VSYNC, Ultra Low Latency Mode, Triple Buffering. It seemed to work, I had a constant smooth 60 ish FPS up until after combat, at which point it all came back. Re-entering the game "reverted" the FPS pacing to normal. I used to use DXVK but even then it didn't work. I don't use it anymore due to using GSHADE. I had noticed the problems a long time ago, ever since I was level 10 in my playthrough. I did not add ANY texture mods/lighting mods/any other FPS heavy mod. I had checked multiple times that my load order doesn't ave issues or if it contains any problematic mods and I had found out that it didn't. The problem can occur not just after combat, but also if I am in an interior for example. I am playing with TTW so I have all of the appropriate INI tweaks. My Specs: NVIDIA GTX 960 16 GB Ram 4 Core 4GB VRam Intel i7-3770K 3.50 GHz 60Hz Monitor Win7 x64 465 GB SSD If anybody technically savvy can help me in any way possible, it would be extremely appreciated. Just like Fallout 4, godrays in this engine suck frankly. they fixed every performance issue with the original game such as cities and everywhere else. But having godrays on high, somehow in certain wooded areas my fps tanks down to 52. When i set them to low "like Fallout 4", the fps jumps to constant 60. TLDR: Set godrays to low to never have performance fluctuations in Skyrim SE.

Hello all, I just reinstalled Skyrim on my system for the first time on a different rig. For whatever reason I cannot get the my framerate above 8-10.... there are no mods activated :sad: I don't know what else to do, I've tinkered with both .ini files but maybe im missing something.... Thanks for any suggestions :smile:

First of all, my Specs: Video Card Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits Amd Fx - 6300 Six-core processor (6 CPU 3.5GHz) 8192 MB RAM DDR3 Directx 11 Hello, I am having problems with my fps in the game when I use mods, and when they are disabled the fps increases and drops do not occur. But using a program to monitor my PC, I realized that when I activate the mods, 2 cores of my processors are around 0% of use and the video card loses 20% of use. I wonder if anyone has any idea what it can be and I took 2 SS showing what happens. I'm at the entrance to Riften: http://imageshack.com/a/img924/4378/3yrYFq.jpg Remembering that I not only get an average of 50 frames with the mods but also I have falls for up to 30 frames sometimes. But what intrigues me is that 2 cores are not used and a third uses 20%, and the video card loses 20% of use. The correct would happen to the contrary, increase the use of everything since with more mods should I use more of my pc, or not?Any suggestion?

Fallout 4 is a great game and I really enjoyed playing it on console. Now with a new computer, I have the freedom to do much more with my game and before I start putting time into this game, I want the best settings for my graphics card that will give me 60fps with at the max 10% of the time frames dropping. I have been first testing my graphics settings while indoors. I will be doing all of this initial testing at Corvega Assembly Factory. Its very simple how I started this testing. I set all the setting to the absolute max and ran around the factory, noting all of the problem areas that caused fps dips. Here are my current settings: http://s10.postimg.org/50qh44gzd/Settings_One.png Ambient Occlusion is the biggest culprit for fps drops; For smooth game play using an R9 390, turn this off. Lens Flare causes fps drops in front of lights, Screen Space reflections cause fps drops around water on the floor and some other areas. Depth of field causes fps drops when moving back and forth past objects close up (like a post of hanging chain) Antialiasing created a noticable frame drop when set to TAA, no noticable drop on FXAA. Antisotropic filtering also had a noticeable fps drop at x16, at x4 there was no noticeable performance difference from being off. http://s17.postimg.org/rirwu1ubj/Settings_Two.png Changing these settings did not effect performance indoors so I left them all at max. At this point my fps was much more steady at 60fps but there were still problem areas. Problem #1: The particle system I don't know what Bethesda was doing when they coded their particle engine, but it is supper draining. From fire, smoke and dust, this particle system has a huge impact on the fps for my R9 390. I even noticed fps drops around 5-10 when I limited the max particles on screen to 50 when moving past steam. To turn this off go into your fallout4prefs.ini file and edit this line from 750 to 0 to turn the particle off essentially. http://s11.postimg.org/gn4h0teur/Settings_Three.png Now that I have set all of these settings, I start walking around the factory watching my fps. Aside from the micro stutters every now and then, its really constant and smooth, UNTIL I GET HERE and my fps drops down to 30fps, WTF? I have tried all the menu settings but there isnt an individual setting that helps fix this. Sure if I set everything to low ill get 60fps, but there would still be an issue there. Iaso went in my amd settings and tried testing different things from turning off tessellations ect, and nothing would improve this fps drop Let me know your ideas! Hopefully we can get to the wonderful constant 60 fps that we desire.

So my FPS drops from 60 ouside to 0-1 inside, and I've tried around 5 different ENB's but I can' figure out which mod it might be! Do you know which one might be causing it? Also, my beginning is messed up! Instead of riding the cart with ulfric and the theif, we're all on the ground, the cart is upside down and everything is chaos. I'm trying to edit an already existing animation in 3dsmax. I have no knowledge of 3dsmax and I've watched every tutorial I can on the topic, the topic being "how to cut frames" and then "export the animation to Skyrim". What I want to do is to just shorten down an already existing animation. I have converted .hkx files to kf, gotten them into 3dsmax, tried editing them (and failed), was successful in exporting them as .kf files and then converting them again. My edited animations do not behave like they should. I'm trying to edit a few power attack animations. The problems: 1. my character performs the whole animation even though I've cut down most of the frames 2. my character performs the animation, but not as any type of attack. the animation is happening but he is just holding the sword, not swinging it like it was part of the animation.

Hello. I did my research and found nothing about any performance changes/reduced performance regarding the mod Cutting Room Floor. I would just like to know if by having the mod installed I might experience lower fps or stuttering.
