  1. What mods do you want to see? You can vote for multiple mods, but please only vote for ones you think are important, not nice - limit yourself to half of all available options or less. Please only add mods that would advance the current state of the game to improve it's longevity, improve existing features, or modernize the game in some way fitting it's character.   2. Hi Mechwarrior fan, Like you, I am a big fan of the Mechwarrior series. I have found this game great since its first version. Big mechs and their maneuverability on the battlefield have always appealed to me. During the last years of the pandemic, I developed, solo, a strategy game similar, aesthetically, to Mechwarrior which I called Drone Warrior. I started this project following the accumulation of bad experience, on mobile, with microtransactions, pay to win, or plenty of ADS. The project is now in the beta phase. Mechwarrior Community, I need your help finding committed players. In Drone Warrior, you and your team pilot multiple colourful futuristic combat drones / robots in an arena against an opposing team.   3. Hello everyone ! So, after struggling to get my models in NifSkope (See here for more details on my previous problems), I'm now able to import them ! YAY ! BUT, after importing them, I cannot apply textures to them, despite them being UV Unwrapped in Blender. Let me give you more information : - On right clicking my imported object, and going to Textures > Edit UV, NifSkope tells me "Could not load texture data for UV editor." - But, importing them onto a blank, empty NifSkope project make them texturable and I can edit the UV - If I use the one I create with a blank NifSkope, once in game, it gives me the traditional "Red Exclamation Mark" meaning there are no readable mesh... I'm working with .nif from Skyrim, and using Blender 2.79 & NifSkope 1.1.3. I can provide screenshot and files if you need them. Thanks all for your time and your help ! EDIT#1: BTW, Explicit in the title, but I tried both .3ds and .obj... With the same result in all case explained.

I wish someone would please make being the General truly as being the general. using some decent scripting you have a mod where you can order your Minuteman troops to clear out the raiders, ghouls, or supermutants or complete a taking point quest with a chance to fail or succeed just like a radiant settlement attack if you don't show up. If your troops succeed they set up a powered settler beacon. If they fail they die and then you, the General, have to go do it yourself or send in another team. Who can make this a reality? Is this too much for the game engine to handle?
  5. I am trying to make a variety of bookshelves for a room. I have followed the CK (original, not SE) tutorial for this and got a great working shelf using CommonShelf01 (using Skyrim CK orig, not SE, because of load times. I'm assuming that simple vanilla assets are the same between the 2 versions). I can duplicate this and populate a room with bookshelves no worries. However, I tried to follow the same method using NobleShelf04 as the base object for placement of the references and it WILL NOT WORK. I have tried to change the LinkedRef to BookShelfTrigger02 after trying many other versions, but still only the original shelf will work when I test this in-game. The new NobleShelf04 will not work under any circumstances!! I have tried many permutations; rotate the PlayerBookShelfTrigger box, assign different PlayerBookshelfTrigger values (>1, ie 2, 3, 4), and many other attempts I can't specify here due to poor record keeping. I can't believe it's got anything to do with NobleShelf04, since they are just a detached reference object; I could (theoretically) float them in the air and they SHOULD wouk fine. BUT NO!!! I KNOW different bookshelves can work within the same cell. Please PLEASE help me!! I've already spent 14+ hours on this and am beginning to feel frustrated. I don't want to copy and paste since this seems to produce a lot of unwanted references and so will (I assume) slow the mod down. Also, I want to know how the CK works in greater detail so I can make future modificaations more efficient. ANY IDEAS??? TV
  6. Hi, I recently found that I cannot travel to Quincy, If i go there or even get close the game freezes. I tried disabling my most recent mods but it must have been an older mod and I cant track down which one caused it. Is there anything I can do? Would these options work and how could i do it: - any console commands that fix locations? - re-install Quincy files? - re-install fallout 4 core files without losing saves? FYI using Steam

  8. I have a macro-level problem or big hole in my understanding of scripting. I don't want a specific problem solved, but I would appreciate someone telling me how or where I can learn the correct contextual use of various Papyrus elements. Boiled down, the issue is that I don't understand in which contexts various language elements are valid and in which they are not. I have several working scripts, but it was hell getting some of them to work, because I just kept trying various implementations in various contexts until something worked. Not a smart way to code, obviously. That may be too vague, so here's a quick example scenario to highlight my conceptual failure: Say I want to create an enchanted item that makes a follower essential as long as he is wearing it, but vulnerable or protected (whatever his default quest-alias or base state is) when it is not equipped. I go to the language reference and search for "essential." I find the SetEssential() function and see that it is a member of the Actor Base script. Great! But where and how can I use SetEssential? I try to put it in a script, but no go. I try to add it as a script fragment in a quest stage. No go. I keep trying various forms and look for the correct property to add to the script, but I can't find this right combination and/or context. Note: I have several working scripts, including ones that use multiple properties, so I understand the need to connect built-in game functions so I can access and those functions and "extend" them with my code. Sometimes it is clear where and how to use some functions, but for functions such as SetEssential and many others, I'm lost and just start hammering away until I drive a nail or hit my thumb so hard I quit for a while. :smile: In my example, I might try to put SetEssential... In a Payrus fragment. Look for some sort of Actor property and code aKspeaker.setessential(1)) In a quest stage function. Look for the right property to add and use Alias_NPCAlias.SetEssential(1) In a script attached to an object or quest : Event OnTriggerEnter(ObjectReference akActionRef) If akActionRef == NPCREF NPCBase.SetEssential() endif blah blah blah EndEvent And I might find that one or none of them work. How do I avoid this crap shoot? What do I need to study? Thank you so much for reading and thank you in advance for schooling me!
  9. ATTENTION! someone please make a mod that gives you actual control of the Minutemen. There is great potential for the Minutemen to become a force to be reckoned with. I know it would be a very large task, but i've seen effort put into way more ridiculous mods. I have the creative side for such a mod, but unfortunately none of the technical knowhow. I'm looking for an armour set and have spend countless hours looking for a dashing armour set for my Knight. - For I have been seeking something, something to equip my female Breton Knight and I am sickened by most female armours that litter the Nexus.   13. So am I the only one that wants a new badass Minutemen General's armor? The one we get is super meh compared to even some other vanilla stuff. Looking at the armors being made right now (Neiro's amazing line-up and things like the sarah rage armor) I just wonder if anyone will do a legit General's armor. Something at least "mostly" lore-friendly to replace that old hunk of junk. Even just a 2k or 4k retexture would be awesome. I want to do a minutemen playthrough of the game but I don't wanna give up my epic modded armors. Maybe someone out there is doing this, anyway I think it would be sweet.
  14. Sorry if the topic doesn't make much sense, but I didn't know how to put it shortly. What I'm wanting to do is try and make my own Skyrim mini series using my Character Gaias Magnus who works for the imperial legion. I want him to be present for the execution but I want him to be following the cart alongside Hadvar. This is probably a problem in a half but is there anyway I can console command myself outside the carriage and enable my controls so I can follow alongside Hadvar? if I can't console command my way out, what is a good way to work around this so I can make it seem like Gaias is following the cart to Helgan? or if not that, at least present during the execution without seeing from my (prisoner) point of view. That's all I need, I know how to manually add loot, and how to move a horse to my position. Furthermore, if I may add. How can I make the camera follow slower? tfc command makes the camera move to quick when I want to do the slow time camera view angle.

Hey modders , can you guys make a new quest for skyrim? ok here its the quest will be like the quest will begin when a injured qin's soldier come to you and ask for a few septims then after you gave him , he will ask if u want to join the qin's army to help them save a princess that got kidnapped by bandits.. please make it more bandit so it will be more epic. After rescueing the princess , she will then fall in love you and u know what happens.. btw please make a stronghold for qin's army and then you could be the general of that stronghold .. you would be followed by a qin captain :D I got this idea from a movie by jackie chan "The Myth" Or if you guys are really interested , you could just make the whole storyline of "The Myth" Here's some research you can do : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Myth_(film) If you make this possible , it will made my brother and me happy cuz after we done watching that movie we were like " i must have this mod on my skyrim!!   16. I have run into a serious problem in my civil war playthrough: generals keep dying. I originally had the Ultimate Killer mod installed, and when I realized that this inhibited my playthrough from progressing, I uninstalled it. However, generals continued to die, and it was not limited to generals. Jarls, essential followers, generals: everyone died. I even deactivated all of my mods and tried again with a fresh save and they still died. I used the console to see if they were essential, and they still were, but they continued to die. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've always wanted to play as NCR General Lee Oliver because calling NCR troops from a vertibird didn't seem lore friendly with the Courier who doesn't have military resources to expend with just a civilian NCR award. I would appreciate it if someone could just take the time to make a small mod which allows the player to select General Oliver's face presets and clothing since I lack the experience to create a mod myself. Thank you to anyone who replies to this post.
  20. Just wanted to throw this out here.. I have been looking for this and can't seem to find it anywhere. I was hoping to get a mod that adds fast travel markers on your map for the general goods stores in each city. I know there are plenty of mods that add map markers, but I really don't want to add every marker in the game, just the general goods stores. I don't know how simple or complicated this would be, but I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I love this mod but there is one or two updates i would like to see:- its own landing markers rather than using sporn points (as this can lead to problems with pachia sporning inside buildings). Improved AI this will allow pachia to make decisions that allow here to find a clear area to land anywhere around its chosen sporn point (at the moment if you point to a building it will tell it can only land in an open area this would avoid the problem). Auto align to landing marker (this will avoid the problem of pachia half buring herself into a buiding wall or cliffs as she will automaticaly align to the direction the landing point is pointing). Mass replacement on landing (when pachia lands she can be moved if anything else sporns in causing problems when trying to get back into her for departure giving her mass on landing will avoid this problem) Colliders (when pachia land you can walk through her and does not become solid until you aske to ride in her). Landing points again it would be nice if they could be placed anywhere on the map this is just a list of idea's that i feel wold polish off an allready superb mod. De Bob
  23. It would not be the most lore friendly thing, but imagine having a giant robotic skeleton with four light sabers follow you around and chop up your enemies. Would take a lot of animating and meshes, but it would be epic.
  24. I am not a mod maker. I just like downloading and installing mods. Here is an ambitious one that might actually be do-able: So you have the Militarized Minute Men. You have the FCOM. You've organized your Army into squads with enough firepower to perhaps take on the brotherhood of steel. What else is there? *Preston Garvey steps in* "Another settlement..." NO! not again! shame on you!. But i'm not talking about that. I am talking about radiant quests: Settlements under attack, Kidnappings, clearing out threats, Raiders etc. They can get annoying. I have better things to do, I am the general, Shouldn't I be able to delegate my troops to handle it? I have things to do, But I want to keep my settlers safe. And I have an army to do so. Immersion! So this would be an add-on to FCOM to handle radiant quests only. This is how I would imagine it (lets stick with the minute men as an example): 1. You get the usual Radio broad message from the Castle saying a settlement is under attack. 2. You would get a popup giving you several options -Send in Squad (X) to help -Send in Squad (X) to help, I will join them shortly -I will handle this myself. 3. Roger, (X) Squad is on the way. 4. The Squad will reach the Settlement and engage in battle or the Squad meets up with you and you defend the settlement as normal. The Former can be done 1 of two ways: A. An % chance (increased or decreased based on who you send) that the settlement will SUCCEED in fending off this attack (you not being there to watch) B. You end up going to the settlement and watch the battle unfold from a distance. 5. The battle is either won or lost BUT: whether or not the settlement is damaged and you have sent in troops; the morale of the settlement DOES NOT GO DOWN because of it. Bonus: Lets say there is a radiant mission outside of the settlement (I.E. Kidnappings, nearby raiders, feral ghouls) and you don't have time to deal with that Then See step 2. This is the more ambitious part of the equation. If I happen to travel to the mission location for a kidnapping rescue: I want to see a Squad of minutemen already there engaging in hostiles in the area and freeing the prisoner. (Again if you are not there see Step 4A and Step 5) So essentially this mod is for Players who want the freedom to do the main quests/side quests/Exploration without having to deal with fail-able radiant quests but still want to be allied/lead with a specific faction. (Mostly Minute Men as the other factions have less time limits) Possible Options would include whether you want XP or Caps from said quest and Random loot in a Spoils of war chest if quest is successful.
  25. Hey buds! Just recently tried out Oblivion Reloaded, well actually just legit recently tried my hat at modding Oblivion. When I found out that I could use my controller with that new UI mod, I jumped into the opportunity :) I came across the Oblivion Reloaded mod, and hoped it would work awesomly alongside my enb, however when I tried to use it while my enb was active, I found that it changed my game back vanilla for some reason? I wanted to tell the mod author and ask in the comment secions, but of course, they didn't make commenting or posting bugs possible. I don't need a troubleshoot, as I simply removed the mod. What are your thoughts on the Oblivion Reloaded mod. Anybody got any cool screenshots showing what that puppy can do?
